The Education Commissioner doesn't surprise me; the Repiglicans never felt good about an educated public, they want to splinter education, so the only educated class are the leaders (even dimwits like Bush) who go to upper-class and Ivy League schools (because they can afford them.) The well-educated class (even dimwits like Bush) will lead the undereducated underclass, who will, the rich suppose, swallow any amount of lies and horses**t the upperclass tells them.

I love Wes Clark and I still think he'd be an awesome Veep. He tells it every bit like Joe Biden. Either one would be awesome, I just find Clark to be a little more 'toned down'. I know, that sounds silly as I type it. Biden is much more 'pit bull' and Clark is more 'artful'. I like them both.

Well,General Clark is certainly not afraid of the Republicans or McCain. The "right-wing freak machine" is right, and it's mild considering some of the things the Republicans have said about Obama. I'd love to see Clark or Biden on Obama's ticket, but Obama would need a fleet of buses under which to throw them on a daily basis. :-)

I like Wesley Clark, and Joe Biden. Either would be great A controversial dark horse would be Colin Powell; especially if he denounces his role in the Iraq fiasco, and finally come clean on how he was used, coerced, misled, and manipulated by the Bush/McCain/Cheney neocon propaganda machine.

The "Right-wing freak machine"? First I'd pay money to see Clark say those words. Anyone got it Tivoed? Second, a Democrat calling the Right Wing "freaks" is too funny. Just the opposite is true. The Democratic machine were the traitors to him. He was a sitting Democrat Senator and his own party turns their back on him and supported his rival in the primary. How do you expect him to remain loyal to Democrats when his own party abandoned him just because he's not a lock-step zombie to the liberal wacko movement. Isn't the Democrat party supposed to be a party of inclusion, a party of free ideas on a wide range of ideas? On one issue regarding the war he gets jettisoned by his party. Shame on the democrat party for turning their back on him.

Romney is correct that sweet talk (gas tax holiday) will give way to straight talk (need for new energy sources beyond just oil). I don't know how he can be realistic when it comes to needing to get off the old idea of using oil. No matter how much we drill and get from our own sources, we will still be importing oil from somewhere. Our national security and environment depends upon we as a country coming together and understanding the issue of energy as a larger problem
