James Dobson should practice what the bible teaches and stop creating divisions within people. What good has come out of James Dobson's ministry except the perception of access to the GOP?

McClain did upset the auto industry on Friday! The new emission standards would increase the cost for the auto industry. Imagine every state having it's own emission standards. Talking about some added paperwork and guidelines!!

First he's for state emission standards, then his staff says he isn't.

That makes 23 flip flops in July alone. The media needs to stop giving McCain a pass on all these issues. If the media spent a tenth the time checking McCain's stance that they spend on Obama, McCain would NOT have won a single state in the Republican primary.

Who is Dobson and why does he matter? The media has it wrong.

We don't care about endorsements of religious features; they can't do anything about the economy or the wars, or the environment.

They are not political leaders - I get so tired of the media throwing faith and religion in our politics and faces.

Let the preachers, pastors, priest, and whoever else deal with their churches and if they want to vote - then it's their choice - just like it's our choice.

I don't need them to tell me who they endorse...because my vote is based on who I endorse- not them.

One, does Dobson even matter anymore? I think the whole 'religious right' thing is way past its prime. 'Value voters', I think, for the most part have seen that voting with you heart and not your head has heaped us into a world of hurt. One of McCain's agent of intolerance is softening? Wow, to endorse him could be a sign that many of the conservative evangelicals are resigning to the fact that McCain might be their own choice.

If Mike Pence thinks that naming some possible cabinet positions would "rally the troop," I think he might be very mistaken. I don't think that they have been inspired by anything that McCain has to say to date. That should be troublesome to the GOP.

Here we go again, hopefully not with the same results. While the issues that concern people like Dobson are important, no limited view should be used in making a decision on who to vote for. In 2000 & 2004 those supporting the Bush-Cheney campaign successfully appealed to people’s emotions based on many single issue biases, prejudices and concerns, neglecting everything else. The huge mistake in electing Bush, not once but twice, was the result of this success in getting people emotional about one or two issues and thus smoke-screening their way through. With this experience I hope the people are now smarter and this time around will simply not be led by a few, maybe well meaning, maybe just egotistic, biased leaders.
