Actually, those list the dominant languages spoken in each region of Afghanistan, but there aren't sufficient linguists in any of those languages to meet our needs in Afghanistan. However, as Afghanistan is an Islamic nation, most everyone has a basic understanding of Arabic, as the Qu'ran is written in Arabic as are prayers and all aspects of religious life. It's not the ideal fix, but it's the best fix we have (some knowledge you just can't get from skimming wikipedia...)

FYI... Facts do count in repeating a candidate's position... especially when one argues against it.

Obama is the one who wants to move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan.

McCain wants NATO (i.e. other countries) to invest more personnel and funds into Afghanistan (aka "surge"). There is no wholesale move of troops from Iraq to Afghanistan like Obama.

There is a difference between the two strategies. Details do count.

McCain is getting senile and he talks like he has problems putting words/thoughts together. Perhaps it's the "I dont know the exact vocabulary" statement, just like some of the other statements where he says, I dont know the answer to that, I will have my staff get back to you today. Many times, he has made mistakes . He just doesnt seem to be able to think by himself. It always has to be scripted and memorized. When off the cuff, he get very confused. I dont see why some of the undecideds dont see this.
If you want get technical about Obama's 8-10 yr remark, if elected, he would be in office 8 FULL years and 2 PARTIAL yrs (Nov 2008 and Jan 2017 where he would be either dealing or perparing to deal with Maliki's government). Guess the Republican's cant add right just as their presumptive nominee cant get other things right. They were made for each other!
