Two reasons: Very Expensive media markets and very small chance of winning Texas. Adding in Texas, even just the higher hispanic areas of Texas, would probably double the cost of the ad buy.

McCain made a mistake: he repetitively called on Obama to take this trip abroad (a trip that had already been planned, undoubtedly), and now he's having a temper tantrum since it's going well for Obama. Someone asked why the ad wasn't running in Texas. I am sure cost is part of it, but...I'd love to see some Obama advertising here. Our state has a huge population of Hispanics, and they need to hear Obama's message. Even yesterday, I had to correct someone about the myth that Obama is a Muslim. I'm hoping that the increased coverage he is getting during his trip abroad will help with that.

I laugh when McCain touts his support of the Latino community with his stance on immigration, but leaves out his reversal on that exact stance.

Obama isn't arrogant. He is cool, calm and collected. He has a sense of self and believes in his abilities to lead our nation out of its darkest moment. If you wish to vote for someone who is unsure of his or herself, that is your problem.

Many of my Hispanic friends voted for HRC because of Bill and name recognition. None of them have even given a 2nd thought to the idea of voting for McCain. Obama isn't taking those voters for granted and I love that he is doing his ad in Spanish. I will also add that we are one of the fewest countries that don't push bilingual studies. In just about everywhere you go overseas they can speak their native language and English or something else. We should incorporate more foreign language studies here in the U.S. It could really take us places.

McCain out right lied when he pandered to Pittsburghers in a recent campaign stop in 'Steeler Nation'. He transposed the 'Steel Curtain', for the 'Green Bay Packers' whom in his book he wrote he substituted their team names instead of those of the military.

He lied when he, corroborated by Bush, took credit for Jim Webb's GI bill, which in fact McCain voted against. What's worse he had the wretchedness to tell us exactly why he was against it. He kept lying about it to a veteran who called him on it in one of his town meeting's that Mark is so proud of.

There is a reason why there are so many active blogging obama supporters...we have substance to talk about, and we do our research. We've tried to find any thing new on the right and we just find more of the same...anything new from the right has to do with attacks on Obama...sooooo we end up in the same place.

I'm really tired of the NCAA college sports team approach that people are taking. It's like they've chosen a side because the like the uniform colors.(pun intended)

I'm an independent. For the 4 past elections I've voted independent...this is the first time i've seen a party candidate that had the most comprehensive plan for this country. And so far there is nothing i've seen that says he can't get it done. He may not be able to get all his promises completed, but I believe america will be moving in a much better direction with Obama at the helm.

McCain to me is just a vote for:

War with Iran (which will send oil to 300 a barrel)
Sustained addiction to Oil
More debt to foriegn countries
Further damage to our reputation as a nation
More Jobs shipped out to countries that have horrible human rights.
