I sure hope Obama doesn't select Bayh. The only reason I can't see Biden being the choice is that Biden might desire the Sec. State job or just desires to stay where he is. Richardson, Sebelius or Bredesen are all more to my liking than Bayh.

Its been a long time coming Kerry Picked Edwards on July 6. Im ready to get behind a cadidate it would be nice to know who their voice of reason is going to be. Hopefully McCain wont pick Romney, Ive seen the videos of all of Romney attack ads. I think someone posted the link here yesterday to a site that has them all. Clark was dead on with his statements. They got twisted up. I have noticed a few things about Obama. Hilary (after she lost) said to him he needs to help with her debt, HE AGREED. Then in a press conference, he was asked if she was a candidate for his VP spot and she grabbed him by the arm and whispered to him, and then HE DIDN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION. MCCain says he needs to go oversea's and HE GOES. McCain says, that you need to look at conditions on the ground before you can make a decision on the Iraq poul-out, and Obama "refines" his position to INCLUDE conditions on the ground. I like Obama, but he is really starting to look lik eh eis being led around by the nose.

Excuse me, BJ, but the Dali Lama does NOT want to attack China, and to put him in the same category as Haggee is a clear indication that you have no idea who the Dali Lama is, or what he stands for (peace, on all levels). One can only hope McCain will actually learn something from his visit with the Dali Lama, and not just try to make it a photo op, but that's probably too much to ask.

There are a number of good choices there. I just thing that I would like to see either Richardson or Biden (possible a few others like Sebelius or Bayh).

It is perplexing and a little telling to me that Mr Jindal, who started out a Hindu and converted to Catholocism later in college, would neglect to vote on a bill that would allow people of his original faith to have an important holiday made official. It sounds either very judgemental or very political. To me, either would be wrong-minded in the principles of his converted faith. Yes, you should shake the dust from your sandals when leaving behind someone you can't convert, but you're not supposed to shake the dust onto those who wouldn't convert. Why is it that some people of faith automatically start treating anyone with a different faith position poorly? It seems remarkedly repugnant to me if you are doing it for political reasons. We are supposed to be a melting pot, but it's obvious that many in this country believe to their very most inner self that Christianity is what our country was founded on. How many knew before this year that some of our Founding Fathers were Deists and studied the Koran and other texts? It has become political suicide to be of any other faith than Christian when running for president. Why, just the idea that Barak Obama might have been corrupted when he was FIVE, my God. Oh excuse me, YOUR God. One of the principles that is common in most religions is that of compassion and empathy for others. How many in any particular faith believe that there is something inherently evil when considering what someone from a different faith believes? Get over yourselves, praise God in your own way and let others do the same.

I love the co-hosts and commentators but cannot stand the Bully Joe! He is the old school politics we are trying to change. A snide spoiled preppie brat of the 80's. A bigoted fat-cat pitbull. As long as he has his boats and can send his kids to private school, what the hell does he care about the country and the rest of us? His comments are non-stop character assassinations delivered by the playground bully. He won't let anyone else talk, insists his "opinion" is the only viewpoint, constantly talks over other people's points. I want to listen to the show, not JOE!

It's too bad. I changed to another cable news show months ago cos I couldn't take anymore Joe. Please send Joe to Fox where he can join the other hateful fear-mongering bullies that love to destroy our country. And let us enjoy a wonderful MSNBC morning news show.
