Whoever senator picks I trust will have America’s interest first.

Unlike McCain who has doesn't have the right chemistry with his choices.
McCain cries leave Iraq with honor. What honor? Amnesiac/Early Alzheimer’s candidate McCain honor means…
Honor thy neighbor as thyself! McCain probably doesn’t know this; being a warmonger.
Maliki and his people have they want out. Nour-al-Maliki even said he“feels America’s continued presence is not tantamount to an admission of defeat; rather a victory of a severe blow inflicted on al-Qaeda and the militias”.
Chuck Todd spinning McCain’s interpretation of the surge and he could win is not good. Point the finger at McCain’s ineptness. McCain Anbar Awakening, Czechoslovakia, Iran/Pakistan borders, Viagra’s 10 sec confused pause etc. deserve more attention.
Give credit where it’s due. Commend Obama not as hubris or cocky like Andrea Mitchell did; rather explain his extreme honor, respect, dignity, pride, love of America (the country he was born in), and Obama's understanding of what the face of America should be. You saw his prayer from the prayer wall in Jerusalem. Obama is a good man, father, husband, Senator, and will be a great World leader with America’s interests at heart.
Can’t you see that McCain has serious flaws, his policies, his temperament, his judgment, but most of all his gaffes. Are these gaffes due to diminished mental acuity or just expedient flip-flops or lies?

Chuck do you want to help elect a man with these questionable matters?
Jack Reed's Sherman statement

Slow news day...Well print this...

Hey Rush Limbo....
two words about your commentary about Obama's speech in Germany.."Bite Me"...
or how about "Pain Killers"
or how about "Fat A$$"
or how about "Lip Service"
or how about "Casting Stones"
or how about "Your Ugly"
or how about "Cigar Breath"
or how about "Forgive Others"
or how about "Your Forgiven"
or how about "Give Up"
or how about " Knock Knock"
or how about " Who's There"
or how about " Open Mouth"..
Open Mouth Who?
We wish you wouldn't......
Jack Reed's Sherman statement

On McCain's 'convenient new time horizon'.

Senator Obama,

You've got him! I have never in my life time seen a person running for public office be scrutinized so much. Is it because of who he his? No one wants to come out and say it, but I will!!! RACE is the factor. Yes, we have come a long way on race relations, but negative racial atitudes still exist in these United States of America. Obama is damned if he do and damned if he don't. Commend Obama not as hubris or cocky like Andrea Mitchell did; rather explain his extreme honor, respect, dignity, pride, love of America (the country he was born in), and Obama's understanding of what the face of America should be.

Can’t you see that McCain has serious flaws, his policies, his temperament, his judgment, but most of all his gaffes. Are these gaffes due to diminished mental acuity or just expedient flip-flops or lies?

Chuck do you want to help elect a man with these questionable matters?

Way to go Beverly. Everyone needs to read her words above again. Get over the subtle racism that still hangs over us like a cloud of methane. I see it in the talking head class from time to time. Do we want a President to mock or a Leader bring us together so that WE can be a better people?

Pundits, it's not about the sizzle or the ratings, or the news cycle. It's about the future or our country.

Obama-Biden '08

Oh, and Biden rocks for a senior senator!"

Jack Reed's Sherman statement

I agree with Ed. It is because of Barack that my African American husband, and myself registered to vote for the first time in our lives. Our family attended his rally at Seattle’s Key Arena this past February, and additionally participated in his caucus at a nearby junior high school.

While I could never deny how ashamed I feel of my ancestors who enslaved and oppressed our African American brothers and sisters, it is Barack’s clear message of hope and change that we can believe in, that captured the hearts of my family, friends, and millions of others just like us.

It is not what you do, but the reason why you do it that truly matters in life. The truth of the matter is that the hearts of many white Americans have been changed, and after generations of sin, they have progressively learned to love the way God loves, - unconditionally.

There was a time when many Americans could not look at each other through God’s eyes, they would either see what others did, or only what their eyes could see, or both, and some simply could not see past the ends of their noses.

Then, after years of truth seeking, and the pursuit of peace, hope, equality, and freedom, people began to see clearly while the grace of God washed away the manufactured fear and false reality that Socrates referred to as “true falsehood” (ignorance of the soul), commonly referred to as racism.

Mother Teresa says it best when she says, “People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are honest and frank; people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway, the good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway.”

Barack Obama favors the American family, the American dream, and the “United States of America”, land of the free, and home of the brave! He will not waiver, and he can, and will bring change with the only three things that can sustain us,…UNITY.

The 200,000 German’s waving American flags for Barack Obama represent change, the record numbers of first time voters, and record breaking financial contributions to his Presidential campaign represent change.

We may have been taught to expect the worst, so we may later be pleasantly surprised when something better happens, but there are times when we must expect the best, and not let the fear of something worse disable our progress towards change.

Black people in America cannot be fooled into believing this emotionally driven media hype, they are far too intelligent and intuitive to be influenced by that sensationalized gossip which sells advertising space, and television commercials for CNN and FOX news.

My husband, and the millions of other African American supporters of Barack Obama are voting for him because of his message, not because of the color of his skin. A majority of black people do not care why white people are voting for Barack Obama, they simply feel that he is the best candidate for President.

Most black people want their sons and daughters to have a role model like Barack to look up to in this world. He speaks about the importance of having the father in the home to help raise America’s children, of parental responsibility to lead their children down the right path in life, and setting the right examples of how to live, learn, and work successfully.

The dream was for equality, not a handout, freedom, not war. Since when have African American’s been war mongers, or control freaks? It is not African American’s who have been predictably cruel and heartless over the years, so why would this kind and forgiving culture suddenly become the punishers of their former oppressors?

It is ridiculous for the media, and select few miss-guided Americans to suggest that Barack Obama becoming President will hurt the black race. I assure you that the majority of African Americans would support whom ever they thought would best serve our country, no matter what race they were.

The generation of ignorant voters who put Bush in the White House is dying off, and the truth seekers, who don’t need affirmative action, and could care less about the color of someone’s skin is not afraid to vote for an honest family centered man with faith in God, and the American dream.

This Presidential campaign was never about race or gender, until it made the news the most watched show on television. Let’s face it, the two biggest sellers are sex and emotions. But hope can be obtained for free with change that we can believe in, and an American dream that is shared with an honorable leader who loves God, lifts up his people, and humbly speaks in their best interest.
Jack Reed's Sherman statement

Caroline Kennedy for Vice President. Obama/Kennedy 2008

Jack Reed's Sherman statement

I hope the media pays attention to all the messages posted here and abroad. You can tell that Obama is definitely in the lead just by the sheer number of Obama supporters who comment here. We all know the bush Regime made sure Obama couldn't meet with the troops in Landstuhl simply because they didn't want the troops to see a retired General officer giving Obama support. I believe Bush and his cronies will do anything to thwart the election in Nov. whether to keep bush in office via marshall law or to make sure their puppet MCBushy is President. for the first time I am truly afraid that we are headed towards and impending doom. I think a revolution may have to happen and the citizens of this country take it back!

Jack Reed's Sherman statement

BJ, CA

Thanks for my laugh of the day!
