When has he done anything for the veterans period? He didn't even support or vote on the latest GI bill, but strangely enough, president duba gave him credit for it. Also, there is a long list of other veteran concerns that he was against. That's a joke, but the media isn't keying in on it. Obama has visited them, here and last week on his tour. They read the email one of the bundlers was sending to the "big money" folks PROMISING a visit with BO in the White House IF he wins. Also, how about BO putting his msg out that for as little as $5 you might win a trip and "back stage" pass to the convention? thought it was illegal to buy votes. Turning the fund-raising process into a lottery is disgusting and pretty low class.

As for the troop visit, you have to know you have no valid argument and that Senator Obama supports the troops by visiting them, supporting their pay, supporting their families, supporting veterans and most importantly wanting them out of Iraq. While a veteran himself, McCain has a disdain for the military and doesn't seem to care if they die for oil, their kids can afford college or they get healthcare when they reach his age. MI chick: you should be asking why he DID vote for it. Yes, it had a smaller amount for alternatives. He's tried to justify voting against certain things because he DIDN'T like part of it. If he's so AGAINST new drilling, why would he vote for a bill that allowed it? Gentlemen, there is very little we as consumers can do for the immediate future since the market is totally skewed due to the rapid economic development going on in China and India.
The "something better" however is algae. There are many species of algae that produce an organic oil that can be refined as a biodiesel fuel. We need to get away from ethanol since it is taking food off of the market. There are several entrepreneurial efforts being made in algae biodiesel right now which could be bolstered by our government on the scale of going to the moon. Imagine having all of our trucks and half of our cars running on algae in ten years? this is a fuel that will continue to regenerate itself and we control the market from right here in the US. These jobs can't be outsourced.

In his career, he has worked across party lines; it has not always made him popular with his party. The real issue here is that Obama choose not to go because he didn't want to politize our troops. So, did the Obama campaign and surrogates spend all week end politizing this issue with our troops?

The honorable John McCain is quickly becoming the dis-honorable. In the last two weeks he has personally called Barack Obama a treasonous, political hack interested in only winning the campaign by putting himself above the country. He has declared that Obama is personally responsible for high gas prices and happy for it.

I'm all for debating issues but this is straight from the Karl Rove play book. Make us fear him, make us suspect him, make us feel that he is less American, make us think he is out to get us, make us think he will do anything to get elected.

So looking at the evidence, who seems to be doing anything just to get elected. If John McCain approves these messages that are obvious false. Do we really need another President with such a warped view of the world, the facts, and the truth?
