and many on here will gloat and say how great the other side is and wouldnt do this, well to me its sad whenever the people we choose to lead fail. and those gloating today might regret their action tomorow.

But it would be okay by me if the Obama campaign could benefit from a Republican congressional scandal a week. You know, if they just sort of rolled out the way the super delegates did during the primary. Those were good times.

In all seriousness, I want the corruption in Washington to cease. I don't really want to celebrate the failings of others; but when I look back at the outrage over Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct, it really pales by comparison to the Repub bribes and greed. Of course, let's not judge before he's had his day in court.

Paul, I don't think it's good will so much as 'earmarks'. Or is it pork?
It's funny that candidates condemn earmarks. I am pretty sure that is the legal mechanism with which funds are appropriated (allowed to be spent). I guess legalese over spending the tax coffers is not nearly as sexy as blaming someone for voting for an earmark.

Ideally, he wins the primary and resigns allowing the GOP to pick a replacement candidate. That's the best shot for holding the seat. Dems with a 60 seat Senate is an absolute nightmare. In all honesty, I don't want either party having 60 Senate seats!
