But, I've stopped watching Morning Joe because the biasness against one candidate is just too much to bear. I mean, we get Rush, then Hannity through the afternoon. Do I have to start the morning listening to the same stuff?

Having said that, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are the celebrities. In fact, it might have worked had Senator McCain used them, or at least her, since they just were in France having a baby.

Bottom line though, the more you see of McCain's ads, the more lies you see and the less he's going to be able to back away from them.

In a way, I think Senator Obama's team is smart to push back on the town halls. Because at some point, a compilation of all the lies that McCain is telling will be put out and he'll then have to defend all of those as opposed to trying to get his message out (whatever that is, for I still don't know what he stands for. I only know that he is against Obama.)

However, I'd like to say that I always liked Joe Scarborough and Mika. But I truly believe that if Senator Obama loses this election, it will be because of the Reverend Wright controversy.

Senator Obama is not some empty suit. Anyone who listens to him can see that. Yet he's been treated horribly by people who never had to fight for a thing. It's one thing for the McCain campaign to go after him - it's quite another for the commentators to assume Senator Obama is another Reverend Wright.

Journalism used to be about integrity and honesty.

Now it's about ratings.

If Joe Scarborough can fight Newt Gingrich, then there's hope. But I'm not so sure. He has Pat Buchanan on; the same Pat Buchanan who worked for a president who wanted to blow up the Brookings Institute.

Why town halls? Why won't McCain agree to 10 stand up debates with various news media persoanlities asking questions. Why, because Mccain looks like a chump in such debates and would have a hard time with the questions. Most likely leading to him losing his temper.

If the Mccain camp thinks Mccain does better in town hall style meetings they are fooling themselves. While Mccain would try and crack those stupid jokes he so often loses the audience on Obama would answer the audiences questions.

No one who has any intelligence watches "Morning Joe". I do realize that FR references that show to try to get the numbers up, but really, one can only take so much sophomoric ranting.

We MAY return to MSNBC morning programming when you get adults to anchor that show. Until then, it is Don Imus, or saddling up my horse. She is smarter than "Morning Joe".

I watched the video, and Joe S. is just pitiful. He lets McCain's gal give her full answers, but steamrolls Robert Gibbs. It's a nasty, biased pattern, and I think it's shameful. Good for Robert injecting his points WHEN he was ALLOWED to speak. Toss Joe S. to FOX and be done with it.

McCain's campaign is a joke, and they ARE taking the low road--sorry, sister, but the only ones who would have to "move over" to let you pass on that low road would be the Republican snakes already there ahead of you.

My mom always advised me to be careful what you pray for, because you just might get it. If little Miss Smart Arse wants McCain & Obama to be seen together in town halls or debates...whichever format...and she will, soon...she will rue the day.

Obama will lay a verbal smackdown on McCain like he's never seen, and the image of the two side by side is a winning argument (for Obama) in and of itself.

It's funny how the media has been used in the divisive politics of the right wing attack and propaganda machines.The helped W win and they helped them lie us into Iraq. Right now there are not that many reporters that I expect the truth from any more. Their are a few Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow. I agree with the Anti-Joe/Mika comments. I'm a diehard MSNBC fan but quit watching in the morning because I was sure I was watching a mean version of Fox and Friends (the dumb version). I just turn the weather channel on now. Willy was pretty cools but not worth waiting through Mika's redundant comments and Joe's whiney supperiority. Made me angry and I don't like to start the day that way so I stopped.

Something is better than nothing. McCain should have accepted Obama's offer of two-three (?) town halls, even though the offer was less town halls than McCain wanted.

Actually, this gives us a clue as to the kind of president McCain would be--all or nothing. No compromise. My way or the highway.

That's not the kind of president I want.

Repeat of 2004...the GOP has a track record to hide, and no solid ideas about how to change or improve the Bush disaster, so they launch the personal attacks in full barrage.. little surprised that McCain would buy into this..thought he had a little integrity, but I guess not. Obama, stay on the high road, as you have been doing. If a white man exhibited your "arrogance", it would be called confidence....surely good AMericans will finally reject this form of personal attacks, and recognize a "class act" when they see one.
