I'm glad they say Obama is a celebrity.

I think McCain is a little upset that his international travels hasn't piqued any interest, because no gives a damn. Jealousy is unbecoming. I'm absolutely thrilled that people are interested in Obama, because then they're willing to listen to what he has to say. I'd rather have a popular president than a widely unpopular one.

The American government must look at the mess we are in and clean up our financial picture first before we can committ to anything else. Washingtonites should also stop squandering taxpayers money. Everbody should tell the truth that offshore drilling cannot happen immediately. To say that it can be done immediately underestimates the intelligence of the American people. It may facilitate big oil campaign contributions, but it is a lie. The highest priority should be to immedaitely help the American people to acquire jobs, healthcare, homes, and bring our soldiers home to take care of their families; and pay them! They should never have been separated from them in the first place. If Mr. McCain is such a hero of the Vietnam war, then do something to help those soldiers that are also today suffering from many post-war disorders. I know because my brother still has problems. Finally, I am still wondering why Mr.McCain turned down an offer to speak to the minority press (Native Americans, Asians, African American, etc.), while Obama accepted, and right after his trip from Europe.

It's really sad that McCain had to start this up already, I'm not looking forward to hearing this nonsense for the next three months. The saddest thing is many people believe it though, and that "taking the high road" didn't get Kerry anything at all.

Also, I am sick of McCain supporters accusing democrats of being caught up in Obama's "show." Perhaps it is YOU who has been caught up in the smoke and mirrors for the past 8 years. We are much more informed than those who believe your candidates outright lies --->factcheck.org<--- go check that out.
