McCain just left the door open and Obama should kick it in by saying how offended he is with this ad. He should say something like:

"I don't normally comment personally on John McCain's ads, but this is different. As a Christian, I am offended. John McCain may think it's ok to mock Chritianity, but I don't and I don't think the American people do, either. Our faith is something hold too closely to our hearts to be made fun of. John McCain has crossed the line with this ad and should have to answer for it."

If Obama says this, he puts McCain at odds with his own already-shaky Evangical base, he reminds those in doubt that he is not Muslim and he further links himself to "American" values that swing state voters seem to find so important.

McCain camp calls Web ad "humor"

Why does no one in the press seem to know that "We are the ones that we have been waiting for" comes from the last line of a prophecy/prayer from the elders of the Hopi tribe? The first time I heard it used was by Maria Shriver in her endorsement of Obama in California -- though of course I knew of it long before she used it.

McCain camp calls Web ad "humor"

First Presidential debate between Senators McCain and Obama.

McCain: Time and again you have conducted yourself here and abroad as if you were something outside of ordinary or above the norm. Is it elitist of me to care about the American's who haven't had a voice to be heard because their righteous screams for economic relief have fallen on deaf ears?
