I am becoming more and more like Oliver Stone, everyday:

I have said for seven years that McCain made a deal with the 'Rove Devil' that if he would step aside gracefully, he would be the follow up to Bush. I never fully understood how McCain could be so gracious under such circumstances. I further stated (for years) that Cheney would 'feign' a heart problem, McCain would be named the Vice President and then he would be running as the incumbent administration. I would say, given the past 15 months or so that the only thing I got wrong was Cheney's capacity to step aside. John McCain today would not cross the street to say hi to the John McCain of 2000. The saber rattling by Bush this morning and the complete foreign policy fiasco that McCain has been all week leave NO DOUBT in my mind how McCain intends to govern. You people who ignore the very scary writing on the wall will have blood on your hands if you vote for McCain. I normally don't like fear tactics; but we are at the brink of a conflict with Russia, just daring them to blink. I think we come up on the short end of that battle, My Friends.

Who's he kidding! McCain is exstatic over the Russian invasion of Georgia, because he loves the smell of naipon in the morning, that war mongering freak! He's just itching to start WWIII. He's too scary to be president. And besides, I bet the first question most dumbed down middle america rednecks who form his base asked when they first heard of the invasion of Georgia was whether Bush was sending troops to Atlanta! They probably never heard of the country by the name Georgia.

McCain, just grasping at straws. I just hope the senators he sends over don't make it back. We're better off without them.

I know the news media is in the tank for Obama, but could you please report responsibly and completely? He didn't send his two "closest" friends, Senators Lieberman and Graham are members of the Armed Services Committee, and Senator Lieberman is also Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

The hypocrisy here is tremendous, but not surprising. Let's see if the media comes anywhere close to accusing McCain of presumptuousness as they did when Obama went overseas. For any Republican who was worried that McCain wouldn't follow the Bush/Cheney script, it was interesting to note that McCain uses the same talking points - countries don't invade other countries in the 21st century they all say. Did the 21st century start after 2003?

First things first, I am not a "Georgian". I have no family members that live in the former Soviet Union and when we become so close to a country that was created a few years ago. McCain needs to let the President deal with the situation in Georgia,as both candidates have been asked to do. His interference is putting lives in danger. By having a key foreign affairs advisor being paid by the Georgia government, his opinion is suspect at best anyway.
Interestingly, Obama's statement is in line with what the President is saying, which is the correct tact to take. It is not a time for sabor rattling.

A GREAT President uses threats and war as an absolute LAST resort ... which is Obama's stance: peaceful negotiations between Russia & Georgia ... but NOT John McCain's.

McCain's stance with Russia is: shoot first ask questions later.

McCain played the "War with Russia" card with OUT having complete FACTS.

... just like when McCain voted FOR the "War with Iraq" with OUT having complete FACTS.

Condey Rice told ABC: "Well, the reporting on the ground is, frankly, mixed." I" think for now it would be best to, not to get out ahead of what we know has happened."

Rice went on to say, "We are going to support that mediation."

As it stands, some reports say Georgia killed 30 Russian peace keeping troops and that is what started the violence. Georgia denies that.

Bottom line: NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED OR WHO STARTED IT .. including John McCain.

With OUT facts:
McCain jumped right out with warmongering threats; like he did with Iraq - NOT the traits of a good leader.

McCain's source of events was from his Chief Foreign Policy Advisor, Randy Scheunemann who has been on the Georgian payroll for YEARS!

* April 17, 2008 - Four months ago, on the same day that Scheunemann's partner signed a $200,000 agreement with Georgia, McCain spoke with Saakashvili by phone. Then McCain issued a strong statement saying that "we must not allow Russia to believe it has a free hand to engage in policies that undermine Georgian sovereignty."

* Scheunemann's firm has lobbied McCain at least 47 times since 2001 on behalf of the governments Georgia, Taiwan and Macedonia, which each paid Scheunemann and his partner Mike Mitchell over half a million dollars

NOW... the AP is reporting that President of Georgia was not telling the truth when they claimed Russia was trying to pull a coup.

Speaking of audacity - did anyone see Hard Ball last night with David Schuster? There was a young woman on - a member of Puma and a young man. Both Hillary supports who are still not happy with her name being placed at the convention. David did a great job showing these two as whining sore losers. The young lady said yes when David asked her if she is pro abortion - and yet she still will not vote for Obama because she feels the Democratic Process was violated by the DNC??!! The guy said Democracy suffered a blow and that the DNC had pre picked Obama to win??!! When David asked him if he would like the Super-Delagates to change their minds and give the nomination to Hillary - even though Obama won the popular vote - this guy said YES - where is the Democracy in that??!!
My point here is that David Schuster did a fantastic job - he didn't talk over his guests answers and he didn't go off talking about himself. He asked tough questions and kept at it so the audiance could see what sore losers these two are.
He has done a great job filling in for Chris and I am sorry to say this but I think he does a better job at Hard Ball than Chris.
Keep up the good work David Schuster.

Please. If Obama had sent two emissaries to the Russia/Georgia region, the MSM would have eviscerated him! As it was, all Obama did was GO overseas and meet with foreign leaders, yet Obama got tagged as presumptuous and arrogant. McCain is--once again--misspeaking, almost calling himself a president and sending his "friends" to Russia/Georgia to negotiate. Yet, there's very little MSM pushback. Typical.
