From NBC's Domenico MontanaroWe noted last week the Obama radio ad on the DHL Air Park jobs losses, which has become a salient local issue. That ad hit McCain and campaign manager Rick Davis for their roles in helping foreign-owned DHL buy the space.

Obama puts DHL issue to TV ad

Gloves coming off in 3... 2... 1...

http://thepajamapundit.com/

Obama puts DHL issue to TV ad

Yes John McCAin who knows nothing about econmics can severely hurt this country. It was only a matter of time before the other shoe would drop. They should have gone for a solution that would have helped the people for the long haul. Short fixes don't give people real security. McCain is all about bandaids, and 'psycholgical' relief.

Even his military focus is easily pulled from one war to another. I've tried numerous times before, as you well know. If just one of your devotees is helped, isn't that reason enough to air this comment?

Nashville_fan; Capt Smash; Diane, Illinois; Andrea, NY; Wanda, Florida; Feisty Redhead; Rodney Gaithersburg, MD; Clara, Kansas City, MO; CA, Tuscaloosa AL; Matt T. Burger..(who made me chuckle with his, ’who is donna ’? inquiry); Brian M. De; Beth, Denton, TX; Beverly in Chicago; Pat, Boston, MA; Chris, Dorr, MI; Steven, Highland Ranch.

I appreciate your kind words, as well as, all of my friends at First Read who feel empathy for what my family is going through. May G-D’s mercy, and blessings be upon you, and all those whom you love. Amen.

I believe I can speak for myself, and Beth of Denton Texas, in strongly encouraging everyone to have a colonoscopy screening if you have reached the age of 50. If you have a family history of such problems, you should be seen at age 40. Please don’t ignore this advice. I believe the following comment is relevant, due to the recent loss of Mr. Tony Snow to the world of politics.

My husband, who happened to be free of symptoms, was also diagnosed with colon cancer through a routine colonoscopy four years ago. We both had dragged our feet about having the test for years. He also needed to see a Urologist about his prostate, but resisted that as well. By the Grace, and Mercy of G-D, however, our daughter, (who is a Doctor ), finally convinced us to follow the prescription of our Primary Care Physician, and we went for colon screenings. The cancerous results of my husband’s colonoscopy led him to see a Urologist the Thursday before his colon surgery, scheduled for Friday. The following Monday he had a prostate biopsy. A small sliver of cancer was found there as well. The glorious news is that with routine testing, his cancers were caught very, very early. Neither chemotherapy, nor radiation treatments were required after either of his surgeries. He is completely cured.

I begged my Dad, and practically everyone I spoke to back then to have a colon screening. Thankfully some did. Sadly my Father was not among them.

As our friend Leon has shared with us, if you are not adequately insured, or wealthy, the price of a colonoscopy may not be manageable for you. (May G-D bless our underprivileged with Universal Healthcare. Amen). Either way, eating yogurt, lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains everyday will help with cancer prevention. A complete list of cruciferous cancer-fighting foods such as onions, cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, beta-carotene rich tomatoes, and carrots, etc., can be found on the internet. Maureen Salaman, a Christian, wrote a book entitled, ‘Nutrition: The Cancer Answer’, which lists 164 cancer-blocking agents in foods. Also, coral calcium in known to make the body’s PH less acidic, and more alkaline. Tests have shown that malignant tumors thrive in an acidic PH, but have stopped growing, and have even shrunk in a more alkaline PH. Look for a company called ‘Salaam’s Nutrition’ online. They have an excellent ‘coral calcium’ product from Okinawa chock full of many other vitamins, and minerals. ’Coral Calcium’ can also be found in ‘General Nutrition’, food supplement type stores. You should be aware that too much meat makes the body very acidic, so eat less. It is better not to ingest meat everyday. Fish, and beans are excellent sources of protein. Choose whole foods over processed meals, and snacks. Replace bad fats with olive, and sunflower oils etc. Drink lots, and lots of water. Regularity is paramount for a healthy digestive system.

Please forgive my preaching. I know that most of us know how to be healthier. I remember my burger loving husband, clad in a hospital gown, lying on a gurney, listening to his Doctors whisper in a corner, while waiting for them to officially tell us the terrible news that we had both guessed from their ominous behavior saying to me, “honey, when we leave here, I want to go get a salad“. It was a bit late, however. He had eaten himself into colon cancer; and I had sat back, and watched him do it. Thank G-D we have a chance to do better.

Not so long ago, early testing for cancer by way of a colonoscopy screening did not exist. Now that it does, I pray that as many of you as possible will avail yourselves of it. DON’T WAIT TO BE SYMPTOMATIC. By that time, it is usually too late.
Obama puts DHL issue to TV ad

Is this a "negative" ad?

Obama puts DHL issue to TV ad

It is time this country accepts that McCain and the Republicans are for their kind.
