It's an excellent ad. Not a lot of fluff but real facts about the Obama the family man. Many can attack him on almost any other issue whether true or false, but there is not denying his commitment to his family which can easily translate to commitment to American families as the president.

It can also be the canidates stance related to poverty, ending violance on our streets and in Iraq, and how the canidate has lived his life.

Has he sat in a church and never fully commited to Christ through baptism? Has he tried to follow Christ's example in the choices he makes?

So, let me get this straight. The bottom line message here is that Obama is a crazy liberal like Kerry, but unlike Kerry, he has the wholesome family image going for him. Is that about it?

The wholesome image still doesn't overshadow or change the fact that Obama salivates over the thought of digging his hands deeper into the pockets of working Americans. His windfall profit tax on "big oil" is still an additional tax on Americans like your neighbors or you who have invested a few dollars in successful oil companies.

And if you think that he should be forgiven for increasing your payroll deductions simply because he loves his children, you should have your head examined.

In short, I can't see where being a good family man excuses a man's errors in judgement and that is how we should evaluate a person who wants to be the leaader of our country.

Caldwell is right. Anyone, even the Obama bashers, can see that Obama is truly a family man that loves his wife and kids immensely. It says a lot about the man and his character.

Regarding McCain. He blew off his first wife who had a terrible car accident. He has called his current wife (Cindy) a c--t in public and then jokes about entering Cindy in the Sturgis Bike Week topless competition. I for the life of me cannot see how any woman could vote for McCain. He is without na doubt a chauvinest pig who thinks that woemn are to be seen and not heard. It seemsd he has always treated the women in his life as second class citizens. I also do not see any evidence of any special relationship or bond that has been developed between McCain and his children.

Character matters. And when one sees Obama walking down a beach with his daughters at his side the love and care for these kids that exudes from Obama is obvious. That is character.

Being against abortion is noble, but supporting a lying, adulterous, socially hardhearted, arrogant warmonger like McCain is not Christlike. The scales of justice tip in favor of Senator Obama when it comes to full scope of morality.

If you hate abortions don't have them. Support the Federal programs Senator Obama is advocating that will offer women many other blessed options. Help people, don't just judge them. Try to see the good in people. Look hard for it, it is usually there.

Pull your noses out of the sky, open your homes, take in the orphans of our society, and raise them with all the 'evangelical' zeal you so ably muster fore, and aft your visits to the polling booth. Now that would be Christlike. Now that may be just what will save you, (and by extention others), from the fires of hell.

What a stark contrast between Obama and McCain. Seeing Obama with his great looking family then thinking of the poor, disfigured first wife that McCain left so he could marry a younger, richer woman and doing so because he couldn't tolerate looking at his first wife any longer who had lost 5 inches in height and gained weight due to the many surgeries she underwent to save her legs after a horrific car accident. McCain is not a family man at all, I've heard of the many angry outbursts both sets of his children from both his marriages have had to endure from him and that includes filthy, derogatory names he's called his second wife.

It is not so much the second marriage............it is how (this is my opinion and how I see it) he appears to treat Cindy McCain.
Don't know if the names he called her in public are true or not, but there are enough of those anecdotal stories out there to make you wonder.
