Our Troop's know that Barack is gonna take them from the sandbox & put them where they know the fight is & has been for 7 year's now.The Pakistan border is the Most dangerous place in the World. Barack proved his Knowledge of World Affair's some month's ago, when he said(and was vilfied for)that if pakistan's goveernment would'nt act against al-quida & the taliban, he would upon becoming POTUS.Soon afterwards, thats exacly what the so-called Cowboy(GWB) did & has taken out a couple of al-quida opperatives in the process.

Barack, may not have served in the Military(lots of American's have'nt),but his Knowledge & Judgement of complex Military affair's are much better than GWB & his bunch of 'Cut & Run Cowards" ever dreamed of.

It's about time that Senator Obama began attacking Senator McCain on the issues and on his unwarranted attacks. It's okay to question Senator Obama's patriotism JUST AS LONG AS WE ALSO QUESTION Senator McCain's patriotism. Why is one fair game and other not?

As to McCain's patriotism, last night on Rachel Maddow's show, a caller who had attended the Naval Academy at the same time as Senator McCain defended his finish in the bottom five of their class by arguing that McCain isn't stupid ... he just had other interests than those "technical" courses the Naval Academy was offering.

Well. I presume the Navy wouldn't waste its time offering its best and brightest anything that wasn't important. So ask yourself this: Was it truly patriotic for Senator McCain to have blown off these classes in favor of other things that were more interesting to him? (The caller said he liked to read novels instead of concentrating on his studies.) Is he guilty of the same derelictions now, given how little attention he pays to economic issues that don't relate to oil? And ... can we truly count on him to care about ALL the issues that are important to Americans, or will he, like the current White House incumbent, prefer (metaphorical) brush clearing to his job.

Because we don't need another president asleep at the switch. If anything is NOT patriotic, it's that.

As a former Republican, I say "Hooray for Obama!" I think McCain needs to stand down and shut up---until he has something constructive to say. Obama truly is a man of integrity. He maintains the high road each and every time, even when provoked as McCain and his surrogrates do on a daily basis now, and he is showing everyday what he means when he advocates for changing our politics. For those of you who are still not understanding what can be accomplished through a better politics, I urge you to consider - just for minute - how much we could get done with our many national problems if we had two level-headed, earnest individuals actually debating the issues and their proposed solutions (rather that two brute candidates demonizing one another just for the sake of "winning"). Demonizing the opponent is all we've known out of our candidates for far too long, and what has our government actually accomplished when it comes to healthcare, education, national security, etc due to the leaders we've chosen?? Think about that. Not much, sadly.

I pray that the American people, regardless of whether they support Obama, can begin to understand the wisdom of Obama's stance on cleaning our politics. Perhaps if McCain could also show some maturity and character on this issue, he will begin to actually discuss the issues. Sadly, McCain has shown himself to be willing to do anything and everything for power that I doubt he will reflect. My hope is that the American people will reflect soon and demand that McCain clean up his campaign tactics...or lose his support. Again, I am not advocating for Obama or McCain here - I am merely advocating for adult discussion about what ails this country over what we've had for decades now (the bully vs bully "election").
