(no words greater than 10 letters)

-Shorten answers

-But 2 very important thing-

Obama needs a physical classic , "I FEEL YOUR PAIN MOMENT"- This would do wonders- (preferably at a town Hall in Ohio, Penn, Iowa or Indiana). He literally NEEDS to show he connects with blue collar and people suffering hardships and needs to actually touch them!!!!!!!!!

2)- He needs to stop explaining what the evil GOP is doing in smearing him AND smear right back. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE TRULY DEVISTATING COMMERCIAL AND ATTACKS AGAINST MCCAIN WITH ALL THE AMMO THAT COMES OUT OF HIS OWN MOUTH- pLEEEEASE THE GUY IS A (BARELY) WALKING MISTAKE WAITING TO HAPPEN (one well done scare video using his own warped take on social security would be enough to scare the bejesus out of enough old people for example). A technique the GOP has perfected.

Yes overall tighten it up and be more human to the common Joe- speaking of Joe- he will help with this end of it.

Everything will be ok- if not I already have plans to leave the Country as the prospect of 4 more years of this nightmarish 'leadership' will undoubtedly push this country pass repair on so many levels. The Supreme court Justice Nominations alone are potential scary enough.

After a stolen election and the country in the absolute mess it's in are the American people really still this stupid?

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

THE DUMBEST THING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FRET OVER LIKE WEARING A LEPAL PEN HAS TO BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST OF BEING UNAMERICAN. According to Tony Campolo, a Christian author, the majority of women who seek an abortion are in the lower-income bracket. They are less educated, less affluent, and less able to access health care. When these women are provided better education and health care, abortion rates go down.

Criminalizing abortions doesn't stop them from happening. It only forces some women to break the law in order to obtain them in unsafe ways. A far better strategy is to find ways to lower abortion rates by helping people avoid unplanned or even dangerous pregnancies. Insuring birth control (McCain voted against coverage), funding prenatal and planned pregnancy programs (again - McCain has voted against these types of measures), and educating both men and women about contraception, adoption, and reproductive rights are smart, compassionate things we should be doing. As a society, we could be doing a much better job protecting women from rape as well.

No one is "pro-abortion", including Obama. Like former President Clinton, he hopes to see it become a rare event. Obama does support women's rights, and he wishes to support measures that will give them choices BEFORE getting pregnant (as well as after).

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

Funny that the polls are rock solid and valid when they favor Obama, but when the tide begins to turn somehow they are flawed. Nope, not flawed. America is finally realizing how completely, unabashedly inexperienced Obama is. End of story.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

If you'll recall, Chuck Todd several weeks ago gave a great explanation of polling and why there are swings in polling data.

Remember, "Registered Voters" verus "Likely Voters". This is key...the higher the voter turnout in November, the less reliable the "Likely Voter" model becomes as the criteria determining who is a "Likely Voter" changes dramatically.

Also, keep in mind the number of new voters registering this year...they aren't being polled.

Finally, remember that the polls you're looking at in the newspapers are driven, in part, by the media looking for a story. The LA Times isn't trying to win the election. However, if you by chance get a look at polling data conducted by any of the campaigns, it's going to be more reliable because it's being done by folks who want to win and are paid to win.

PS - Check Real Clear Politics...they have polling data that includes Barr and Nader.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

Boy, listen to the panic from the Obama supporters. November is still a long way off, but they can smell defeat already. The deluded Democrats still believe that their liberal nonsense to be mainstream American thought. It isn't and never will be. Back-to-back Bush wins and McCain's steady gains in the polls are solid proof of that. Obama is going down to defeat just as liberal loonies Gore and Kerry did.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

if not I already have plans to leave the Country as the prospect of 4 more years of this nightmarish 'leadership' will undoubtedly push this country pass repair on so many levels. The Supreme court Justice Nominations alone are potential scary enough.
JDOwens45Ohio (Sent Wednesday, August 20, 2008 9:56 AM)

******************************************************
Let me know if you need help packing. Even if Obama does lose (not likely) I don't think rascism will play a significant role! The republicans have ALWAYS been able to spread the fear and scare their way into the White House. His campaign has been expecting this for a while, hence the negative ads he has begun running in select markets with little no fanfare from the press in general. Obama's campaign is going to get nasty and if he falls futher behind "Katie bar the door" because it will get very, very nasty. Obama's handlers are trying to explain his drop in racial terms but in reality the country knows his total lack of experience and leftist leanings are the real reason. Obama will have to go into the election with a solid 50% plus number to win because there are 5% of poll respondents that say they will vote for Obama because they don't want to offend. Again his campaign knows this and realize he is probably further behind than this poll indicates.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

I checked real clear politics and McCain is leading in only two polls and Obama the rest, but the great thing about this if Obama suddenly becomes the under dog people will rally around him. Keep reporting this because it will keep reminding us we need to turn out and vote, especially young people like me. We need Biden to go after McCain, Obama want go after McCain like he needs to. I am so glad Rachel has her own show, that is so awesome, know there will be some balance and Keith want be alone in keeping it real.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

S.B. Obama will raise taxes for anyone who has investments and owns a home. I live in Chicago and I never heard of Obama till he started running for president. He's a typical Chicago liberal politician who keeps raising taxes ( sales tax in Cook County is 10.25%). Obama is a phony who will say anything to get elected.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

John McCain will say anything, do anything to fulfill his long-standing personal ambition to be president. He is a hypocrite of the highest order, willing to lie, cheat, and God-knows-what-else to steal this election. You can feel the momentum turning, just like in a football game. No, it is NOT because Obama is an African American. This is just the same-old, same-old. The Dem candidate leads until the GOP puts their slime machine in full gear every August.I thought this year might be different since most of are having trouble buying gas and groceries, but people STILL put national security first. I am beginning to suspect that I will never see s Dem in the White House in my life time, and I am not that old! This Rovian Playbook will continue to work, as long as people panic at the sign of any unrest in the world and believe that the GOP are the only ones who can keep them safe. Osama Bin Poverty is what will kill most of us !! ( except for McSame who claims that you have to have $5 million to be considered rich and his wife who charges $750,000 a month on her credit card.) I am sickened!!

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

You people make me laugh. They turn on TV and allow their brains to be saturated with whatever drivel is being spewed. McCain will be another four years of Bush, so basically people, this county is done. DONE. We will never return to the American values we had before Bush/Cheney.

And the sad part? The media, who flexes their bias, always spouts how they can't affect elections. Of course they can. They don't give the news; they give opinions, and the mindless viewers allow them to infiltrate their brains.

All the 18 to 24 year olds better vote. If you don't, you'll be looking at a draft.

Chuck - bet you're happy..........

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

The statement that McCain made about "Evil" is a good example of where his mind-set is. Evil has been in the world a lot longer than McCain and will be here when the majority of us are gone. There is no way that evil can be defeated, it can only be confronted and the way it is confronted depends on what you think it is. That is the reason that McCain and Bush will keep us in war after war after war. Everything and everyone they see is evil and they think they can defeat it. It is not our job to defeat it but to confront it and depend on our faith in a higher power (G-d) to defeat it,which will be done by Him and Him only.

I agree with Sen. Obama when he said that we should confront itand there are more ways to confront it than thinking war, war, war. America will never regain it's respect as long as we continue to play the Supreme power by bullying.

McCain vs. Obama: The tightening race

IMPORTANT !!!!!!!

If you elect McBush President be prepared for the draft to be reinstated !!!!!

McWar will need more troops to fight all his wars !!!

We need President Obama to reverse the downward spiral America is now riding.

Obama 08-12
