I'd ask you guys to talk about McCain's recent lies about Obama, his deplorable personal attacks, or the fact that he outright admitted that his first presidential bid was driven by his ambition to possess the power of the office, NOT to help Americans.

I'd ask that, but that might mean a drop in the poll numbers for McCain, and that is the LAST thing the MSM wants right now. They want to keep this race within 2 points until election day - it's all about ratings and punditry.

2. Do you use cell phone owners to gather information on polling? Half the people I know use cell phones ONLY. NO landlines . Polling is obsolete.

What does FR and the media expect to happen? Do they think Joe will "Beam me up, Scotty" and "Beam me down to Springfield, Ill" My guess is Barack will announce his VP chioce Thursday, Not Friday, Why? Politicians announce bad news on Friday so it gets lost over the weekend (ala Edwards announcement). Thursday becomes a 3 or 4 day news cycle. Don't think it will be Bayh...he is too nice.

So, Barack will announce; media will go into a frenzy, the "winner" will get on a plane and meet Barack in Springfield. The VP choice already knows, He has to know!! With poll numbers slipping, the VP choice could not come at a better time.

Zogby/Reuters is using the "Likely Voter" model and Chuck Todd did a great piece on polling a while back and how the higher the voter turnout the less reliable the "Likely Voter" model is.
