But Clark is not a seasoned politician. I don't think he would bring Arkansas with him and he would be torn to shreds by McCain and the Republicans.

Take either Biden or Hillary. Biden for his willingness to give it back to McCain. He is accepted by many i nthe middle class, hails from PA and can speak the common man's language. Plus he has great foreign policy experience.

If Obama takes Hillary he might nudge that 11% of Hillary supporters staying on the fence and would help to give Obama a 10% - 15% lead in the polls. The polls are close becuase these are the folks holding back. Then after elcted President give Hillary the National Health care issue and keep a lid on her on everything else and send Bill to some far off ambassador assignment.

A more buttoned-up Biden

yeah, all of this is total foolishness. not only should you guys at First Read be embarrassed.... but i think Obama is milking this a little too long... its more distracting than making us anticipating the whole thing...

dumb move.

plus, the old rule of thumb is that the pick is never the obvious guy. so Biden is out, any idiot can see that.... sort of surprised that Chuck and the crew is eating this up hook, line and sinker.... the guy who has gotten the least amount of press is Bayh, so thta is who it will be (unfortunately)... either that or a wild card that none of us have thought of.

A more buttoned-up Biden

My bet is a private jet with the destination of Springfield Ill. I hope so...Give them hell, Joe.
