I heard the chair of Just no Deal" over the weekend stating how Hillary was so mistreated by the Obama campaign and the press. I am not sure if they realize this or not but the Repubs would have made that look like powderpuff stuff if she had won the nomination. The R's wanted Hillary and Bill to consolidate their base; they had a dosier a mile high on the two of them. Actually, I would have liked to have seen Biden as our candidate, but I would have been more than pleased with Hillary and will absolutely vote for Obama. This election should not be trialized...there is too much at stake this time. In hockey during the playoffs, the teams fight for every inch on the ice and despite being whacked and punched and checked and bloodied after the end of every series each team comes out to shake hands and pats each other on the back saying great game, way to go, and they appreciate how hard each one of them played. Its called reciprocal respect for one's opponent. We now the to vote the Big "O".

I heard a caller refer that very question to some pundits and guests on a CNN talk show and they all seemed to skirt around the question. I look at the polling where 27% of Hillary's supporters say they're going to vote McCain, I laugh, and quickly realize that they are most likely republican FEMINIST'S anyway, who were just crossing party lines in support of a woman... So that number doesn't surprise me at all. They are simply returning to their original party, for true democratic women can't be that stupid!!!

People need to realize that you can't strong arm an election... There's a process, and Hillary Clinton lost fair and square...

Also, I see the idiotic logic that some are putting out, saying that "She got 18 million votes, she should've been on the ticket", what in the world does that have to do with anything??? Yeah, getting her as VP would've sealed the deal for Obama, so it must say something towards his character that he choose rather to focus on taking this Country to where he envisions it as opposed to JUST winning an election... Seriously, think about that for a second... Hillary would have given Obama the Presidency without doubt, but he'll much rather lose an election for the sake of his Country, than to save face by assuring victory at whatever cost. He's obviously got a plan, and Hillary as VP simply did not fit the mode of what he needs out of a VP...

...And let me just say this... As for the Hillary supporters, God forbid Barack lose this election due to your stubborness, Hillary wont stand a chance in 2012... People wont forget this... While I may not disagree that Obama needs to provide specific plans that he has for this country and the people of the country I am not sure that is the correct strategy at this time. The majority of voters cast their votes based on emotion and not on any kind of study of the specific positions of the candidates have. Everyone keeps saying Obama needs to be more specific when he has been specific about his proposals over the last year. Not only in speeches but on his web-site. McCain gives no specific proposals and no one is telling McCain he needs to be more specific. No, I think Obama needs to appeal to people's emotions and that requires taking on John McCain with issues like Mccain's numerous houses and Mcacain being out of touch wit hthe people especially in regards to doemstic and economic issues. Obama could spend the next 90 days being very specific about all his proposals and at the end of the time if he loses the eletion people would say Obama was not specific enough. This election will be won by way of emotional appeal. You don't earn that emotional appeal by boring everyone with specifics. You win it by hammering your opponent and inciting people once again about Hope and Change as Obama did in the primaries.

Just watched Meet The Press with Brokaw, Caroline Kennedy, and Speaker of The House, Nancy Pelosi.

He tried to 'go there', (sort of), with Caroline, but she handled herself with ease. He knew to stay in his place with an Alpha American Family member.

Pelosi was a different matter. He had an agenda. He went after her with his carping guns loaded. He never came up for air, but he also never scored a point. It is clear to see how she rose to be 3rd in line to the Presidency. She is soft spoken, beautiful, classy. She knows her stuff, and is no shrinking violet.

Give Dan Abrams Meet The Press, MSNBC. He is a lawyer, in the tradition of Mr. Russert. I have found him opinionated, but largely non-partisan. I think he could control himself, and conduct his interviews in an unbiased way.

Brokaw is a partisan piece of work. Timmy would not be pleased.

It is sad to admit that american voters respond best and are swayed by negative ads full of lies and character assasination.

Indeed our biggest blunder in 2004 was to take the high road of not attacking President Bush and his gang. I knew it then, expected it during the mid-terms in 2006 and was dismayed last month as the republicans (who know nothing about taking the high road) continually bashed Obama and were successful in turning the Obama trip to Europe which was a resounding success into a negative! As a result the Obama lead in the polls evaporated and it is now a tie! I began to see 2004 revisited!

However as a supporter of Obama and as a disgusted american I decided soon after the 2004 and more recently the 2006 mid-term elections that I would have no mercy on any republican and would hold then accountable and make them go beyond the Limbaugh and Rove soundbites! I drew the line in the sand and NEVER compromised! I am only one voter but I HAVE influence within my scope of influence.

I am encouraged to see that the party has finally matured and is willing to FIGHT! Hold republicans accountable and expose THEM as the elitist's! Expose them for their concerted attack on our civil liberties! Remind the country of the scoundrels that moved into the White House and government. Play back for America the attacks on McCain by his own party in 2000! Have no mercy on rebublicans and McCane. Have no mercy on Lieberman! Continue to remind the nation of how many republican senators will not attend their own convention!

Senator Biden (the next VP) started the offensive Saturday in Springfield and with our individual support, within our circle of influence, we will carry it on to the White House!

Curious about why people still need to know what Obama would do as president? 1) get us out of Iraq, 2) work on health care, energy policy, creating jobs, improving education system... The details of how are not something you get in a speech - it is available on his web site and in pamphlets (pamphlets are typically how these details are communicated - if at all... Obama's are more detailed than any other candidate - independent assessment by AP from a few weeks ago). Can he do it? He has had the most disciplined, most effective campaign of the season (better than supposedly experienced Hillary, much better than imploded twice so far McCain). Does he share our values? His values are all there on the web sites as well. There've been 3 or 4 documentaries on all the candidates by everyone from A&E Biography to Fox News -- including a very good pair by MSNBC. What are people asking for?

Three in 10 say they support Mr. Obama but have reservations about him or they support him only because he is the party’s nominee. Five percent say they do not support him yet.”

So what this poll says is no different than what we knew three months ago.
25-30% of Hillary's supporters are not enthusiastic about Obama, and may or may not vote for him. (I say, most likely not.)
5% say they don't support him.
Gee, unless I my math is wrong that means at least 35% of Democrats polled say they are not happy with our party's nominee.
It's funny how the media, and this website in particular, try to spin the news and poll results in favor of Obama every chance you get.
Report the facts, tell the truth.....almost HALF of The Democratic Party is reticent about Obama, and this will cost us the election in November.
