To hear the pundits for the last couple months, neither state is even a battleground anymore.

Obama may be able to lose both and still cruise to 270, if a couple of the states that are being called battlegrounds come through for him.

He can't lose Pennsylvania, though, and this is probably part of the rationale behind the Biden pick. Biden lives in part of the Philly media market and is from Scranton. Plus he's good at counter-attacking, and McCain has made clear this will be a negative campaign season.

Anyway, let's see where those Ohio and Florida numbers are in mid-September. (Benjamin Franklin). For all of you Obama supporters, consider this: raising corporate taxes will mean that the prices of the goods they provide will go up as they pass the increased taxes on to consumers, therefore raising taxes on everyone, (including the middleclass), OR, if the marketplace will not absorb the increased taxes, the corporation will layoff middleclass employees, therefore, hurting the middleclass. Raising taxes on the rich will also have an impact on the middleclass, as the rich will forego home improvements, large purchases, (such as automobiles), vacations, etc. The decrease in demand for goods and services will impact the middleclass workers who provide such goods and services. I realize that it feels good to believe that you can tax with impunity, but you have to THINK about the consequences of such taxes. The consequences are extremely adverse for our economy, as, in the U.S., each dollar taxed takes two out of the economy. (Look it up, it is called the multiplier effect.) Vote with your head. The only change electing Obama will bring is fifty cents for a dollar.

Battleground: New FL, OH and PA polls

..
Headlining in Denver --- THE NEW OBAMA DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

The New Democrats --- free of SELFISH special interest groups; free of hucksters like Sharpton & Jackson; free of the Clintons, and, free of whining white women like the Hillary Supporters.

GO OBAMA ---> GO NEW DEMOCRATS ............>>

***********************************************************

Battleground: New FL, OH and PA polls

S.B.
