OK, I was a Clinton supporter, and I'm not 100% sure about Obama, but these PUMAs are a bit ridiculous. I'm voting for Obama because he's the best candidate I have to choose from. While I'd like to see him be a bit more specific, and for god's sake fight back against the Republicans, he's definitely a much better choice than McCain. The focus on PUMA nuts by the traditional media is so over-blown and biased. It is over-blown because there are so few of these nut cases. It is biased because the traditional media completely ignores the huge rifts in the Republican party. Where are the stories about Ron Paul's counter convention in Minneapolis? Where are the stories about the religious right's dislike of John McCain? Instead, it is a one-note media circus focusing on the Democrats. I can't just blame MSNBC. Ironic that Hillary herself doomed herself as a viable VP running mate for Obama with that kitchen sink strategy. PUMA's get over your bitter feelings about Obama. I've grown out of my bitter feelings towards Hillary because I've been watching and listening to what she's said since the primaries. Her acceptance of cutting the roll call vote short has impressed me immensely and I now respect her more than ever. It is this type of blind loyalty and zeal that Hillary and Bill Clinton need to address promptly and succinctly in their respective speeches. They should make it clear that if you supported her candidacy then there is NO way you could be for her and vote for McCain.

As much has been said that the Obama campaign has been given a ‘free pass’ one could argue that the Clintons have been also. The fact remains that the time for internal bickering has long passed.

Much has been said in these blogs about the baseless attacks the Republicans have been launching against Obama, if fact thanks to the heated primary the Clintons provided sound bites for the recent ads. Now the sound bites should be to turn the page on this reckless Presidency and get a Democrat into the highest office of our great country.

If the Clintons are sincerely interested in seeing the Democratic Party affect the social changes that many are hungering for it will be incumbent upon them to unequivocally stand behind and support the Obama/Biden ticket. She may yet get a star place in the new administration and she will further build upon HER OWN resume.

Hillary and Bill need to accept the reality that this is someone else’s moment, rather than misuse this opportunity to stir the caldron of discontent, they should embrace the historic and momentous occasion. History is being written and this election is not unlike the birth of our country, there are portraits of the founding fathers and they (The Clintons) should want to be viewed as participants in a turning point of American history.

I don't think what's happening now has too much to do with the primary. The fact that Senator Obama didn't pick Hillary as VP is what sits in my craw. If Biden had gotten even 8 million votes he would have probably been selected without little thought. For Hillary to be ignored in this way is inexcusable behavior on Obama's part. And then today Brian Williams I believe it was said that "insiders" said that Obama just didn't know what to do about Bill. And he expects to run the United States and he doesn't know how to handle an ex-President? And what does Bill have to do with anything. Making Hillary suffer and denying her the Vice Presidency because of her choice in mates seems even a worse affront. It's bad enough that she is being told to take her 18 million marbles and go play somewhere else, she's being punished even further because of Bill. PUMA's don't have to do anything except vote for Hillary by writing her name in on election day. No one can stop any of us from doing that and maybe in 2012 the party will realize that women have money, women can vote for a third party, and women will not be denied their candidate. So I say go Hillary. Support Obama all day long. No one is going to tell me how to vote. I'm voting for you on election day. This is what really gets my blood boiling. NEWSFLASH!!! Hillary LOST. The individuals she had running her campaign LOST. She knew she was going to lose a long time ago, but instead of conceding, she led her supporters to believe that she would. And now everyone wants blame Barack for Hillary's LOSS. The primaries are one thing. That has been completed. Now we are entering into the general election and it is time for folks to FALL IN LINE. Stand up/behind for your party and stop acting like BABIES. Although I did not vote for Hillary (I was actually hoping Edwards was still in the running), but if she had won the majority of the delegates (she didnt) and won against Barack (she didnt) I would be supporting her just like I am supporting Obama. Besides, I would like to see Hillary on the supreme court. Barack has other things planned for her. She will be on his team, just not the way that you wanted her to be.

No taxes, no services.Things like the Food and Drug Administration, highways, bridges, levees and dams; things like the armed forces, customs and border agents... Sen. Obama is proposing to maintain a tax rate, rather than make temporary cuts (which didn't help the economy) permanent. If you sincerely feel that your taxes will be raised under Pres. Obama, it must be because you currently make $250,000 or more. If so, please understand that the extra taxes you pay will lift up the entire society and your services will improve.

I find these so-called Clinton supporters who refuse to accept that she did, in fact, lose the election as phony supporters.

Wasn't it Rush Limbaugh who suggested Republicans vote for Clinton because they had lots of ammo against her and felt they could beat her? It sounds an awful lot like that group, Republicans pretending to be Clinton supporters in order to do whatever damage they can.

Same old Repub dirty tricks 101. Because face it, Obama is going to bring a whole lot of new people into the process and that means no more scarfing at the public troughs for these guys. Limbaugh's $43M salary might be cut to a paltry $10M. Big oil, hey, how are they doing after 8 years having an oil man as president? Billions in profits while drivers get $5 gallon gas. Get the picture? John McCain is beloved by the military industrial complex, for good reason. Like Groundhog Day, a McCain presidency would repeat the current economic disasters. In fact, one of his advisers helped remove the mortgage industry rules so they could reap the rewards while homeowners and taxpayers paid.

Those people yelling out against Obama were never Clinton supporters except as they felt McCain could beat her. That's who they were going to vote for all along.

J. Matthew and PUMA are the not agood example of how women are. They have mental problems like MCain. McCain can at least say its age but them I just do not know. Donna - what the heck are you talking about? Yes, we all took economics, why don't you draw us a freaking graph? If you read on to, oh, Chapter 12 of one of these mystical Econ books, you'll learn about a little something called "externalities" and how the government can play a corrective role in the amoral nature of the free market. Through things like taxation. Taxation leads to revenue for the government, tariffs lead to dead weight loss. They aren't the same, and, they are part of a functioning market economy. Not to mention, money isn't the only thing considered a "benefit" in the actual economy. Preferences, Donna, preferences. YOU are the one with the fingers-in-your-ears talking points, ma'am. Not to mention WAY too much time on your hands. Unless you're getting paid for this, which apparently, you are. They should at least hire someone who has read a graduate level econ book. Economics isn't really the boss's thing though, right?
