But if you take those number and further break them down. Almost half that 20% were rupukes to begin with but truly supported Clinton. Since she lost, they went back home. The other half were Rush's "Operation Chaos" Repukes who were gonna vote for McCain in the 1st place in the General Election and irrational PUMAs . They just wanted to mess with the primary numbers. So around 12.6 million Clinton supporters now support Obama while 5.4 million are not or undecided. So you can stop with the 18 Million thing now. And so if you look at the numbers of the Dems Only you see that they are united. Why do you think the Repukes are fighting tooth and nail. Cause they know it's true and that they are in trouble. They're desperate and the MSM is just lost in translation.

Just thought the uninformed needed a quick education lesson here.

CIH8U2 (See I Hate You Too) ;)

Live from Denver...

Hey First Read let's get with a good article posted for the First Lady of Class, Hillary Clinton, and her marvelous call for nominating Barack Obama by acclamation. That was some great political theater and would be a great subject to write about.

I hope Chuck Todd gets more face time tonight. A bummer that I always have to be gone in the morning when he comes on MSNBC tv.

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!

Live from Denver...

MSNBC, PLEASE GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE CONVENTION. Though your channel is great, we don't need hours of talking head punditry. You all talked right over Brian Schweitzer Gov. of MT yesterday. His speech was amazing, I had to find it on youtube for god sake. Please wait until after the speakers conclude for the night to give opinions.

OBAMA-BIDEN 08

Live from Denver...

CSPAN!

Live from Denver...

Andress: The primary is over and you need to move on. You say that people under 45-46 would be asking the same question. Not if you are African American as I am. Only within the last few years (5 or 6) has the prejudice that I would openly receive if I went shopping decreased markedly. You have been apart of the main stream culture ( eurocentric, white) that you don't see the outright prejudice that people of color face. I teach cultural competence for physicians, health professionals etc. in general people are afraid of something that is different then what they know and comfortable with. If you ever have an opportunity to speak with Desmond Tutu's daughter Naomi, she can address the issues surrounding racism in general much better than I. I can tell you that what I wish I had seen was some of the minority pundits talk about how beautiful it was for once to see an African American woman, Mrs. Obama, speak about her family and marriage and it truly represented US as a people. I am tired of seeing the rappers, gangsters, criminals and unmarried "baby mama's drama" be the only representation of us. Many of us cried because we saw what we knew has always existed in our community.

Live from Denver...

I agree with Eric --- Sen Clinton was all class tonight! All you can say is WOW!

And sorry MSNBC - love you guys - but gotta agree with Brian too. Always like to hear what you all have to say -- but can't we see more of the speeches?

Obama/Biden '08

Live from Denver...

MSNBC - why aren't you showing any speeches?
