A bit more seriously, this guy really made you feel connected, from your spot in the family room---to the place where maybe you voted for him in the primary or caucus--to the spot where you maybe left your office for an hour to see or hear him in person---forward, to the place where you'll cast your ballot in November.

WOW Im still in tears. Finally Obama is fighting back. The McCain campaign needs a new strategy.
I was so happy he layed out all the programs that we all know he has. Take that McCain now try to say he is not qualified. He knows more about the issues after 11 years in Illinois and 3 years in washington than you know after 26 years.

Same old dribble we get from all democrats.He's had all summer to debate with McCain.Why didn't he? Big crowds and fireworks do not make a President. I'm a small business man that also invest in the stock market and I don't feel I'm going to get much help from Obama. I'm also getting a little tired of these dems beating up on Bush. As a life time Republican voting this year Democrat both locally and nationally, his speech just reaffirmed that we have a very clear choice in this election. I've watched the responses from Tom Brokaw and his portege, Brian Williams, for weeks now. It's unfortuante that their negative bias again Barack Obama is so obvious, since they present themselves as objective journalists. The best Tom Brokaw can do is the evening news. The same holds for Brian Williams. Hopefully, Tom Brokaw will quiet his garbled speech, until he's capable of speaking without garble or bias since he isn't a Keith Olberman or Chris Matthews. He's a disater on Meet the Press, without doubt. Tonight. Barack Obama was unblievebly brillient, clear and inspiring. I was certain that Tom Brokaw and his shadow, Brian Williams, would express their usual unfortunate, spineless, regrettable, non intellectual drivel.

He walked out onto that stage, with a huge smile, no signs of nervousness. And all he managed to do was welcome the United States and the world into the 21st Century.

He was offered the torch, he has accepted it.
