Wow. The republicans are scared. Barack's speech was my March on Washington, my Kennedy moment. I sat alone in my living room. My kids asleep in their beds and was proud to be a Obama supporter. I was never 100% behind the democratic party. My cynical nature always felt that they were just as bad as republicans. Obama changed that. I now understand how my Dad felt when he heard Kennedy speak.

I feel sorry for McCain. The campaign is over. Welcome President Obama.

I believe that tonight at the Democratic Convention, we have just seen the next President of the United States. A majority of Americans are tired of political manipulations and half-truths. The fact that Obama is less experienced in Washington politics will end up being to his advantage. His speach was straight forward and appeared truthful and sincere. It is not about what is good for big-business and a select few, but about what is good for a "United" America, Democrats, Republicans, and Independants, as it should be. I was not sure about Obama before tonight's speach, but I am now, and he definitely has my vote as well as all of those watching with me tonight. I finally feel more hopeful about the direction of our country.
