Hmmmm...intersting CNN is the only outfit that always comes up with a tied poll everytime Obama opens up a lead. I am glad he broke the 50% barrier...now he can only do better...and this is not counting 1st time voters and younger people who are always ignored.

I am determined to campaign door to door and will continue to donate very paycheck...no way I would let McCain win...it is too dangerous for this country.

I am sure that statisticians cringe every time polling results come out. With the vast number of polls and polling samples coming out everyday, it is impossible to obtain an accurate "prediction" of how the country will vote. But if we must continue with the polling reporting, a better measure would be the state-by-state polls vs. national polls. As we've seen in recent elections, the popular vote can be split 50-50 but still result in a winner/loser based on electoral votes.

A couple of weeks ago, when Obama slipped three points in one of the polls, First Read's gleeful headline was "Obama lead cut in half". In today's poll, Obama regained those points plus a few, breaking 50% for the first time, but First Read's headline is "convention bounce" with a QUESTION MARK!!!. If I want news that is spun to favor the Rebublicans, I can always check out Fox Noise (as Keith calls it). Shame on you, MSNBC.

The next month will show an another increase in the polls for Sen Obama and Biden. There is a Presidential Debate and a Vice Presidential Debate. Sarah Palin has an aweful lot of "boning up" real darned fast. Lets see how she does.

Further, these polls do not count hungry, new, excited voters. That is going to be a margin of more than 10% of voters. That is not measured in polls, but it is happening in Obama's Ground and Internet Game. During the Convention last week, I watched on the Internet via the DNC site without all the reporters cutting in and talking, and received text messages about upcoming speeches, fundraising, and volunteering. That happened each of the four days!!! I received an text asking me to donate to the Red Cross for the Gulf coast and quickly was able to make a $5 donation on my cell phone!!!

You guys are missing the Ground Game that Obama has in place. It has been in place for the past 18 months, I know because I have been there the whole time.

Obama will win this election by 9 percentage points in my opinion. The Palin decision knocked McCain down. I was considering voting for him, but not now. This is a joke on America to pick such an unqualified woman. I liked Tom Ridge, but McCain didn't have enough guts to tell the right wingers he wanted Ridge and that was all there was to it. This makes me angry too. I will vote for Ron Paul as a write-in
