At least Fox sat on Jesse Jackson's story for a week making sure it was accurate, correct, and in context, before putting some of it out there. Doesn't seem to be much of a vetting process at msnbc.

I am a very liberal Democrat, but I really like and respect Peggy Noonan and think she adds an honest view from her side of the aisle. She was very insightful through the primaries and I appreciated her opinion, and wrote her once to tell her so. Though I don't agree with her on things political, I'll give her a pass here, but I do have to say that I really enjoyed hearing that full throated expletive coming out of her mouth!

PS Mike Murphy is an honest guy too, no worries. But Mike, don't lose your edge, that's what the TV audience loves about you!

Although this may refute the "it's over", this in no way detracts from the point brought up by Chucky T that there were many "qualified" republican women that McCain could have chosen, ones that may have been more accepted by moderate Americans. TAke a look at the party convention demographics and that would have to be amended to white, old men.
