Doesn't that suggest that he knew the unit was generating income? Following, as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee is he suggesting that he does not know that income, even if is being used to pay down a mortgage, needs to be reported to the IRS (and in his case to Congress). I have income too (it's called a paycheck). And, the majority of that income is automatically deducted from my checking account each month to pay my mortgage. Should I no longer declare my income on my Tax Return?
Charlie Rangel is a crook! A Stepford VP Candidate. Watch for your latest versions when some additional neo-con feamles begin running for Senate, Governors or Congress persons. The way to win. Be a Stepford Candidate, all smile, no brains, robotic to the republican cause.

Rangel admits to 'mistakes'

Obama has his hands full with the smears coming right and left from the McCain campaign. But, I don't think he would give Rangel a pass on this. Don't forget, Rangel was a huge Hillary supporter so there is no long relationship or warmth there.

Rangel admits to 'mistakes'

Regarding the "lipstick on a pig" controversy ...

Don't you get it? It DOESN'T MATTER whether Obama meant Palin when he said it.

Why not?

Because, as we say in the legal world, she "opened the door" the minute she called herself a pitbull with lipstick? What exactly did that mean if not that she is a tough woman who can take the heat and belongs in the political arena? After all, politics ain't pretty. And why else is the McCain using the slogan, "Read my lipstick"?

Because it's a commonly used and well-understood metaphor. When Dick Cheney said the same thing about John Kerry, what did HE mean? When Obama made a further analogy to wrapping an old fish in newspaper, did he call McCain a "fish"? Are you going to call McCain out for HIS use of the term to describe Hillary Clinton's proposals?

Stop perpetuating this bologna. The ONLY sexist thing here is the McCain campaign using a woman as both a sword and a shield. She talks trash and then hides behind her own skirt.

Read MY lipstick, Governor Palin. If you want to play in the big leagues, then perhaps you ought to grow some ... spine.
