These people that are freaking out over Palin are the same people that got Bush elected.

Twice.

They are dangerous and they are doing it again.

And the media is just throwing fuel on the fire.

She'll be exposed before the election for what she is and Obama/Biden will win. They can play this attack game all they want but McCain and Palin will get smoked in the debates because they have no answers to offer up for the last 8 years and no plans for the next 4 other than to keep the Reblicans in power so a Democratic President doesn't appoint a liberal judge to the Supreme Court. If that's done and the Dems regain control of the House and Senate, there's nothing stopping an investigation into the Bush/Cheny Administraion. For such things as who leaked Plame's identity, where did that $60 million in weapons and cash go, how did that fire start in the VP's office and what was behind it, and so on. The Rebublicans have way more to lose than the majority of the American pulic realizes.

Just a thought:

Why is it that I have to go to factcheck.org or politifact to separate truth from fiction? Why can't I simply go to msnbc.com? Isn't it the job of the mainstream media to verify what you report?

It seems silly that I have to go to msnbc for my left-leaning perspective and then over to fox for my right-leaning perspective to get a sense of where the real story lay, and then finally over to factcheck to find out which parts of what I just heard are either truth or B.S. For the moderate American who wants to educate himself before he votes, shouldn't I be able to just trust you guys?

When I separate the wheat from the chaff I find myself overwhelmingly for Obama, but that doesn't mean its been easy for me to do that separating.

factcheck should be commended, but they also should not be necessary. It seems to me that they are doing the most important part of your job for you.

I dont trust the polls! They never give the true and full picture! And its a little to early to claim victory for McCain. Who is running for President Sarah Palin of John McCain? Lets hear what she has to say when she is interviewed and at rallys by herself, I hope is more than those same lines she has been giving since the convention bc she will be right on one thing that bridege leads America to NO WHERE! If she cant tell us what she is about How will she tell us where we are going?

Polls lie. everyday the media beef stories up to keep folks like us entertianed. the presidental race is a circus right now and America needs help. I honestly believe polls reflect how a person is feeling based off the last insult a candidate just dished out. Sarah Palin brings out the ditzy women who only want to see a woman in power hold office and dont care about the issues. John McCain symbolizes the older generationally challenged, racially divided, patriotic clowns who are afraid of change so he makes his motto about change and these folks are to dumb to realize he is the same guy who voted with G. Bush, spent 26 years in congress and is part of the problem. Obama inspires hope in the younger generation and folks who lost their jobs, homes and are in need of healthcare and a better economic plan. Biden balances him out with foreign experience and general knowledge of how things work in washington.

What republicans and rich folks fail to realize is the nation is in a recession due to the war and whether you like it or not someone has to help get things back on track from the war. Taxing isnt going to hurt as much as if the price of gas keeps going up and the value of a dollar keeps going down.

I'm sorry if i sound biased and yes i am an Obama supporter and a part of the 95% that will be excluded from the new taxes being proposed but you got to admit. it wouldnt have to happen if your twice elected president didnt use up our surplus and run us in the hole to begin with.

I wonder what the polls would reflect if folks who have cell phones only were polled. Obama would be ahead 10 points in poll of polls. He's for working to solve the issues, ya know- the economy, gas at the pump, home mortgages, education, health care, jobs, and the environment. McSame can toute change all he wants, he still voted with Bush 95% of the time. If he gets in he will be with Bush 100%.

I'm a Missourian and quite disgusted that A. my state actually voted for Bush twice B. McCain appears to have a healthy lead here. What would Harry S. Truman think?

We used to be a swing state, but I fear we're becoming a red state. There are too many people here who vote based on religious ideology or what Rush and Sean tell them.

I know Obama's campaign is here and working 7 days a week to register voters, so that could make a difference.

I am so tired of National Polls and I question their accuracy. I only wish all the news media were questioning them too. National Polls are probably useless due to the fact that 36% of young voters do not have land lines, just cell phones.

What we do know is that in the 2008 Primaries 20,828,435 voted for Republican Candidates and 37,415,320 voted for Democratic Candidates. I wonder if the polls take into account that the ratio was slightly more than 7 Democratic votes to 4 votes for Republicans.

It really is about the electoral vote and the election polls by state. I have found a website that seems to provide unbiased accurate analysis.

For those of you that want the truth, instead of looking for a poll that favors your candidate. This might be the place. If you think you have a better one, let me know.

You need to check out the FactCheck.org that was put out by Newsweek yesterday.

This MSNBC factcheck put out today is totally biased for Obama.

Poll has just come out where the American public (5 to 1) believe the media is wanting to get Obama elected.

Unbiased journalism here in these United States is just about dead.
