While The Axe is out there trying his Chicago brand of politics on the nation (it won't work Dave, in the real world, Republicans win once in a while), McCain is busy keeping an eye on the situation in Texas.

Here's hoping Obama does well on tonights SNL. I hope he has better writers then those that write his cmapaign speeches. It's really hard to make an unfunny man funny. Kind of like putting lipstick on a pig.

My retired father is 74 years old and 'lives' on the computer. Whether it's managing his stock portfolio, paying his bills, or reading the WSJ online, he has kept up with technology! By the way, he doesn't use the fact that his fingers are disfigured (past fractures) as an excuse! He admits... "I don't want a President/Vice President who's like me, I want a President whose intelligence and abilities far exceed mine." He is embarassed to admit that he voted for Bush in '04 and will be voting for Obama/Biden this year! Enough is enough!

How can the “Duel Personality” McCain and the “lipstick pit-bull” be trusted when they are both liars and hypocrites blaring change and reform? What is the ear-piercing “lipstick pit-bull’s reform-- less ear marks, less firings, abortion for rape victims, and protection for animals? And unquestionably vague, visibly out- of- touch “Duel Personality’s,” what change does he offer? I doubt if it’ll be a higher minimum wage; not privatizing Social Security and Medicare, benefits for veterans, diplomacy in Foreign Policy, more earmarks, gay marriage, stop PURGING VOTERS LIST, public education, changing tax cuts, an economic stimulus, not repealing Roe v. Wade, no lobbyist in Washington, more unions? I think not.
It’s about time the media started fighting the smears; media information sets the tone and is what low information voter’s go after.

I am glad to hear David sounding so positive, but I must advise him that they need to find more issues, like women's issues where McCain does not vote for equal rights for us _ put that in an Ad. Leave Palin to the Press, focus on McCain. When McCain comes out with a nasty ad, hid back hard and swift do not let them have one moment to bask in the 'joy' of being nasty. McCain said that this is politics and it is a tough business. That's what he said on The View. Obama does not have to change his stance on not telling lies about McCain, just every time McCain comes out with some thing, counter with the same ad demonstrating the truth. Don't let them get away with anything.

I hope that Obama will shine in the debate without seeming to be 'cocky'. He should just be cool, no hesitating with his answers.

Mr. Axelrod only got it half right. In my view, the overarching message of the email ad is that John McCain's non-existent computer literacy demonstrates a glaring lack of flexibility. He's not willing to change and cannot muster the curiosity to try. This is not just an age thing because George W. Bush clearly suffers from the same bullheadedly incurious ailment. One of the impressive attributes that attracted me to the candidacy and campaign of Barack Obama is his demonstrated willingness and ability to learn. He was a professor, but he's been attending and learning from a different kind of university during this long and grueling campaign.

You can govern without being willing to learn, but you will be a more effective and engaged president if you can grow and react to the dynamics of American society and international events. Senator Obama can do it but I have grave doubts that Senator McCain is capable of it. So the email ad is way more effective than I think the media or even Mr. Axelrod realize.
