I watched him on debates and interviews. When the media pundits were complaining about he is not giving "I won't blink" answers to questions, I appreciated that he really listened to the questions and gave very thoughtful answers. I want a president that is a deep thinker not reading off stump speeches. Throughout the campaign he has stayed true to his commitment to stay on the issues. His opponent on the other hand has gone off the deep end. Sen.Obama has shown us very clearly how he will govern and that inspires a lot of confidence. He picked a VP candidate that will help him govern, rather than the one that would help him win. He put the country first in his choice. And his personal story his a true American story. I live in CA, so I see things very differently. The kids in my kids classes are very diverse. There are caucasians, hispanics, african americans and asians and there are plenty of bi-racial and multi-racial kids.
As a son of a white mother and a black father and with an asian american sister, he represents hope for all of us and our future.

Biden defends 'patriotic' tax remark

The Mepublicans will try to beat up Joe over his "patriotic" comments, etc. But Dang! Is he right, or what?

Taxpayer bailout of the wealthy few (think Wall Street, Freddie/Fannie) is just as patriotic. And for all you "liberal haters" out there, it's also Reverse Socialism!!! Own that!

Biden defends 'patriotic' tax remark

A. I like McCain/Palin defending their tax cut for the upper middle and rich class's. They are admitting that those who have more should pay less. That those who profitted from the BUSH/MCCAIN taxcut should be willing to have that rate reduced to levels prior to the tax cut to help their country. This crystilizes the debate. Reform only as a word. Change only as a word. Protect your base at all costs. Well the chickens have come home to roost. It's time we did put country first because McCain/Palin do not.

Biden defends 'patriotic' tax remark

What a dumb comment for him to make.

Does he want us to move to socialism or communism?

Biden defends 'patriotic' tax remark

G.
