What a laugh "Bush Hugger" McCain trying to put all the blame for the Wall Street Meltdown on Obama. It's been the Bush Hugger who has been in Washington 26 years making sure to destroy the government regulations that could have prevented this crowd of white collar criminals to make tons of money with their shady business deals. What a pity MSNBC tv is wasting so much time showing "Liar" McCain this morning, well I can watch more intelligent programming on the NASA channel until they get that garbage off the air.

McCain is such a bumbling idiot. He's been all over the place in the last week - flip-flopping within hours, making completely inaccurate statements, and now he's treating an ally, Spain, like they're an enemy.

In order to "prove" he knows something about the economy, he brags about being on the Commerce Committee and having influence over every part of economy - then he turns right around and gives a speech about how "WARshington" failed the people and he's going to hold those fat cats accountable. A note. While the bail out is necessary, let's think where the money is coming from: US Treasury notes and who is buying these notes? The Middle East and China are the two largest buyers. So the 150 billion dollars in notes issued over the past 5 days put us ever deeper in debt to others. Of course that affects how we interact on oil in the Middle East,and the stands we take toward China. In addition both of these nations are largely financing the US wars through the Treasury borrowings.

If we follow McCain's social security privitization we will see the same need for a bail out in future years, thus creating a need for further borrowing from the Middle East and China. Perhaps we should consider a loan independence strategy as well as an oil independent stratey.

Personally, I think it is appropriate to pay for the government that we want. If conservatives think that the war in Iraq and Afganistan are such a grand idea, they should agree to be taxed to pay for those efforts. What is happening now- keeping those expenditures off the books, borrowing from the Chinese to pay the 10 billion monthly charge, and sticking my 10 year old daughter with the bill is nothing short of corrupt. How about it conservatives- willing to pay for the war you cheerlead for?
