And so the Hillary Clinton effect lives on...boy, a lot of us saw that coming. Has she done enough? I'm not sure but some say not.

I have seen a lot of criticism of the methodology of that Ohio poll, but c'est la vie.

How, indeed, do we get through to people regarding the terrible consequences of the declining economy. Its hard to make good economic decisions when you don't understand the morass...kind of argues against deregulation to a certain degree.

And so the GOTV efforts begin in earnest, let the early voting begin. Its the smart way to go this year, if only to avoid the lines. It doesn't help me though, I don't think CT has early voting.

Democrats will be busy getting those traditional voting blocs of theirs lined up for early voting. The winos on the streets of battleground states. The illegals in states where picture ids are not required. The old age homes before granny kicks off because once the old girl votes, it counts whether she's around or not on Nov 4th.

Obama will not be able to change many minds in three weeks. Especially if the reason they are not for him is his race. It would not matter if the economy came to a complete halt and he had the answer to the trillion question... race trumps everything when you are a bigot. Obama simply has to stay on message and believe that thinking people of all stripes will be able to pull together in sufficient enough numbers to make him the next POTUS. McCain and Palin are so pathetic I don't see why media pundits discuss them and their ideas as if they are erudite and relevant. He is an enthrenched Washington insider with nary a clue about 21st century needs and she is just down from the North Pole being fed lines from the McCain/Rove machine and her limited vocabulary doesn't even allow her to understand what she is saying.

Thus, she keeps repeating lies and is utterly unaware that she is lying! This is so scary it is like a B movie. America will not elect the Palin/McCain ticket to the presidency.
