In a world exclusive The NATIONAL ENQUIRER names GOP VP Candidate Sarah Palin's secret lover!

No less than three members of the man’s family including one by sworn affidavit have claimed that Sarah Palin engaged in an extramarital affair with husband Todd’s former business partner, Brad Hanson.

These sources have named Hanson as Palin’s secret love, and say their affair nearly wrecked both their marriages.

Hanson owned a snowmobile dealership with Palin’s husband Todd, who immediately dissolved the partnership after he heard stories about the affair, which occurred around 1996, according to the sources. At the time, Palin was mayor of Wasilla.

Palin has vehemently denied cheating on her husband, and Hanson insisted to The NATIONAL ENQUIRER that he was never romantically involved with the 44-year-old Republican vice presidential candidate.

However, Hanson family insider, Jim Burdett, has gone on the record and passed a rigorous polygraph test, revealing details of the affair to The NATIONAL ENQUIRER in a world exclusive interview.

Burdett is a former brother-in-law of Hanson’s estranged wife Carolyn's brother, Craig Batton, and still speaks with many family members.

“I’ve known about Brad having had an affair for a long time, but it wasn’t until just recently that I learned his affair was with Sarah Palin,” Burdett told The NATIONAL ENQUIRER.

“Sarah was elected mayor of Wasilla, Brad became a city council member in the nearby town of Palmer, and they started an affair.

“Todd found out about the affair and was so mad he broke up their partnership at the snowmobile dealership,” Burdett claimed.

Another source, who preferred to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions, provided The NATIONAL ENQUIRER with a sworn affidavit attesting to the Palin-Hanson story.

“Todd was away on business a lot and Sarah felt lonely. Brad was a good listener, and Sarah talked to him at length. Eventually, she realized she was falling in love with him,” one insider divulged.

“When Todd got back from one of his trips, Sarah told him that she had begun to have feelings for Brad.”

Why do we always have to bail out the rich and powerful? If the greedy had been more people-oriented they would have taken the time and effort to rewrite those faulty mortgages and keep people in their own homes in the first place. This isn't a problem that just happened overnight; it's been building up for years and those CEOs knew it and used deception to keep the information from public view. As Barack Obama says, we need to work from the ground up, NOT from the top down! Hard-working taxpayers don't need the burden Wall Street has dumped on them!

I am listening to McCain on POTUS, he's stopped campaigning - because our CRISIS is so grave; yet he is stumping at Clinton's summit. I love the smell of hypocrisy first thing in the morning.

By the way, was I the only one who picked up on the fact that it certainly appeared that McCain 'hijacked' the joint statement that he and Obama were in the process of agreeing to issue? This guy puts new meaning in the word Desperado. I really cannot stand this man. He represents EVERYTHING I have grown to distrust and despise about our current 'leader' in the white house. They are like twins in what they will say and do to get their way. I am embarassed for my country with these two schmucks being representative of about half of the electorate.

I took my 'lazy, liberal butt' down to the Obama office; and even though I worked 92 hours last week, I managed to make 38 calls. I am on a mission and I hope my good friends here are as well. This is going to take more than money. It will take every tool in our arsenal because as we all know, the Republican machine is dishonest and they will stop at nothing to steal this election "by hook or by crook". Maintaining their greedy, 'me first' status quo is of the utmost importance to them.

It is up to us to be that change. This bailout is scurrilous and completely incomprehensible to me that anyone would give ANY republican a 'second chance to make a different impression'.

If the distractions are more important to you than the issues, you should be slapped with a stupid tax. Unfortunately, that is exactly what this bailout really is. A fiscal nightmare that we all have to pay for because 51% of you are complete morons.

PS. When you were voting against gays in 2004, and you believed G-d was on your side did you ever even imagine G-d would retaliate like this? Probably not.

Personally, I am tired of getting the government that 51% of you deserve. I know as a country, we can do better.

It's a pity that "Clueless" George messed up the first 14 muinutes of Rachel Maddow's show last night. I couldn't bother to waste 14 minutes listening to the Liar in Chief. This is just another political ploy to rush by poor legislation at the last minute in an election cycle. I also think that "McCain Hugger" Bush is playing politics with that worthless meeting where he's dragging Obama away from his camapiugn and debate prep where he should be. This poor political sham will backfire!

After conning us for the past year that the economic fundamentals are sound he now cries lke Chicken Little that the economic sky is falling. I smell a con job going on and there is plenty of money in the system.

Bill Clinton handed over to Bush a country with economic growth, the most in more than 70 years, record job and income growth, a blanced budged with a surplus that was actually paying down the principal on our national debt, and great worldwide respect. Fastforward 8 years, and Bush is leaving us with a possible Great Depression, record job and income LOSS, the biggest budged deficit ever, and zero international credibility, power, and influence.

I was watching CBS when the president made his address. The show that my wife and I were watching was "Criminal Minds".

While we were watching the president speak I hit the 'info' button on my remote control. The result was a box at the bottom of my TV screen, underneath the president's head, that read "Criminal Minds".

Needless to say, we got a little chuckle out of that.

Bush's address was rather sobering. We all know what's been happening, but to hear a president actually give voice to notions like our entire economy being in danger is striking.

So the bottom line is the government is going to buy bundles of mortgage-backed securities at a price determined by some analysts' interpretation of a fair value. And the reason for bringing in the analysts is to come up with a fair value, because many of those securities currently would trade at pennies on the dollar. In other words, the analysts' role is to get the government a worse purchase price, to ensure enough money flows into the investment houses.

What we haven't heard is the exit strategy. Obviously the government won't be acting as a normal investor, who looks to buy low and sell high. The government is trying to buy higher than it otherwise could. So what's the government's sell strategy?

Maybe that's included in the 2.5 pages of the original proposal, but I haven't heard anything about it.

As for McCain's stunt, well, its just getting harder and harder to see him as a serious candidate.
