This add makes absolutely no sense at all. Both sides brag about "reaching across the aisle", but the McCain camp is trying to portray Obama agreeing with McCain as some kind of evidence that Obama is not ready to lead? Come on!

Someone pointed out that most of the times that Obama agreed with McCain were when McCain savaged the Bush Administration policies; I wonder if the McCain ad shows that.

I think everyone expected this ad, and I think it's effect will be negligible.

Anyone who is really and truly undecided watched this debate or will watch real clips of it, from a source other than a McCain ad.

John would sell his mother if he thought it get him into the White House. It is sad what he went through in Vietnam, but it has become a broken record. He should spend more time looking into his wife's relationships in LaJolla - maybe that is why she needs to be at his side at all times. Barack showed class in dealing with an old jerk. Barack needs to let him have it. Why didn't he throw in when McCain got the borders of Pakistan mixed and the the tribal names. Also when McCain said in his statement trying to clear-up what he said about the economy being fundamentally sound that the people are strong and work hard, Barack should have concurred but added that they have little to show for it under his and Bush's policies. If John McCain wins this election, I'm leaving the country

probably an effective add, but thats whats wrong with our politics...the notion that candidates must disagree on every issue or they're not strong enough to lead there respective parties is a worn out tactic. Senator Obama may have said "John is right", but it was usually followed by his own take on how to fix the problem Mccain was right about pointing out. Both candidates can see the same problem, and agree that there is a problem...they might just have different ways of approaching the solution.

McCain claimed victory in the debate before he got on the plane to go to the debate. Why was it so necssary for McCain to lie about the debate before it even started? Maybe he wanted to know how Thomas Dewey felt.
