Ifill should remove herself from the debate. this is just more of the same, let's tilt things for Obama. I've heard Ifill speak about Obama and the "sugar" was flowing from her mouth. Even if she COULD be unbiased, this does not give a good impression since she's in the tank for Obama.

Why should Biden not be able to speak with authority. Because it would look condescending towards palin? Hogwash. I thought we would want a Vp who could speak with authority on the issues.

This debate is becoming a set up for Biden to lose even though he can speak on the issues authoritatively and allow Palin to get by on a poor performance with generic and confusing remarks.

Screw this fear of being over-bearing. If Palin can't handle a debate then she does not need to be in the debate. Stop setting up Biden to fail and giving Palin a free pass because her answers will be those similar to someone who has a six pack for brains.

On the site, First Read ran story after story after story about Hillary and sniper fire in Bosnia. People on this blog beat her to a pulp. Now, Biden lied that his helicopter had to land in Baghdad because of sniper fire. No, according to John Kerry who was in the same helicopter, it was due to bad weatther. There's not one nickel of difference between the Hillary situation and the Biden situation but First Read and MSNBC gives him a pass. But, of course, they do. He's part of the Obama ticket and there's no secret MSNBC is in the tank for Obama. I don't know why the network just doesn't put up Obama signs on the set. This is shameful.

I don't see why they're even calling it a debate. Joe's not going to be allowed to express his knowledge or he'll be condemned for taking advantage of the fragile Palin. I read a column yesterday that had already declared that Palin had won. If Joe has to be tamped down - do the repugs really think that Iraqi, Iranian, Russian leaders are going to do the same so as not to upset the fragile Palin? Get real - it's a tough world out there. Did anyone see Scabby J this morning? He was all over the Repub talking point that Gwen Ifill is biased because of a political book coming out with the name "Obama" in the title.

Mika made me want to puke by claiming that Joe could impartially moderate a debate. I know so many of you have tuned out this show; but it is good for at least a couple of nauseating laughs a day. I defend it because I definitely think they get the best guests and it maintains the 'all politics-all the time' which I am currently heavily invested in.

even come up with one magazine name! What the h--- was that all about? Is she too afraid to open her mouth because of what her handlers might do or say? Or is she really that plain stupid? What does she think? SCARY!!!
