I for one have never been loyal to a political party...I examine each candidate for myself. No political party will ever decide my vote.
"It serves always to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another."
-From George Washington's Farewell Address-

First thoughts: The next generation

with the national humane society, for the first time in their history, endorsing a presidential candidate - sen. barack obama; just what would those republican ads look like - vote for mccain/palin we believe in every americans right to carry an AK 47 onto a helicopter and shot wolves?

First thoughts: The next generation

American Voter, back in 2006, the GOP thought they would be able to survive another election cycle, while giving Cowboy George EVERYTHING he asked for. NINJA is No Income - No Job - No Assets. Then you wonder why we're in the mess we are today. Topping this off, Gwen Ifill is writing a book that is very favorable to Obama. Their generation carries with them a color blindness that was not seen in past generations of new voters, thank goodness. They also grew up in a home with a parent who was very vocal about what we should be doing as a nation to help people from the bottom up. The top has already got what they need in excess. I don't tell them who to vote for but they sure are influenced by me. It's Barack Obama for me as well as them. I never had a real issue with John McCain, he just doesn't get what the majority of us are up against. I don't think he ever will, he's a wealthy republican. I would have voted for a republican when I was younger, now I just realize they will vote along party lines and that in essence is against what I believe is right for the rest of the world.

First thoughts: The next generation

To: Hillary Supporter for McCain (Sent Wednesday, October 01, 2008 9:55 AM)

Like wise I'm sure when Obama/Biden takes it?

First thoughts: The next generation

Smoke got in my eyes, wait a second.I don't know where you have been Carrie,Obama has been talking about the ecnomoy for 18 months, you see he thinks it's a important topic.I would think buy now you would have seen this is part of his platform and some thing that he cares a great deal about.I think Obama has stayed out front on this issue while McCain seems lost in space.

First thoughts: The next generation

Maverick that's it I'll dub myself the maverick...or how about Crash. Naw. Doesn't have a ring. I know Ladies Man. Yea, I like that or better yet how about Big Bucks Ladies Man. Who cares what my first wife thinks about it. Maverick? Hmmm, what the hell does that mean anyway. What would Chas Keating think of it? Who cares. I don't care what anyone thinks or needs.

First thoughts: The next generation

I have been stunned at the bias in the media from all of the MSNBC pundits.
