The BS Express is heading off the cliff. I laughed so hard last night as Jon Stewart showed clips from "Schizophrenic" McCain who was actually arguing with himself on the Moronic Joe show. He broke a campaign promise to never vote for pork by voting for that pork laden Senate abomination of a bailout bill. After voting for the bill he then went on to say he hoped his clueless pal in the White House vetoes it. Talk about the Double Talk Express.

It will be interesting to see who fills the Senate seat of Biden if the Democratic ticket wins. Beau has often been mentioned for that position. Biden is also on the Senate ballot in Delaware (like Lieberman was in 2000 in Connecticut). He would be older than his Dad in his first term.

I think it was obvious last night that Joe Biden is a father first and a politicion second. I'm glad because I'm not too crazy about politicians today. Our government stood by for the last eight years and let this travesty occur. They played politics and watched our housing market go down the drain. This bill they are voting on in the House today was put together without any hearings, without the people having the option of hearing anyone of the many good professionals who may have been able to put in real mechanisms to make changes that would keep this financial crisis from coming back at us two or four or six months from now every bit as volatile as it is today. Our elected officials are more concerned about getting back to secure their re-election than they are about doing this right.

You can be proud of Beau. Myself I had a son on CVN-74 USS John C. Stennis when the call to duty came on 09/11. They were on work ups for an up coming cruise to the Persian Gulf when that hellish day broke out. Of course they were told to stay out and patrol the west coast of the US instead of returning to port.

He completed three cruises on the Stennis and ultimetaly volunteered for a one year US Navy security detail with boots on the ground in Iraq. I NEVER supported the war! But I have ALWAYS supported the troops for being sent into harms way by a reckless, deceptive, and almost criminal administration (BUSH/CHANEY).

My son made it out of Iraq in one piece along with 500+ sailors who all volunteered to serve there. America is proud of ALL our war fighters. Yet sadened by the inexcusible loss of thousands of wonderful Americans who gave it all in places like Iraq and Afganistan. Were proud of Beau Mr. Biden and even prouder of the Obama/Biden ticket that will finally gets us out of the mess we all know as Iraq.

On 9/12 there should have been 150,000 troops on the way to Afganistan, NOT IRAQ! You made a bad choice Mr. President.

Little did frat boy know that he'd just walked into a drug deal, and is amazed when a crypt shanks one of his jocko buds. Now another fratty is on his cell back to the frat house for reinforcements, and before you know it, 4,000 fratties dead, 350,000,000,000 dollars blown, and the bloods and crypts and angels from all over are headed for the bar to barbecue the remains. Then some loudmouth frat boy sends out to the brother frats round the world for reinforcements, and this stupidity continues.

It must have been very exhausting in the debate last might for Biden. Imagine having to listen to Pailin, try and figure out what she is saying, keeping yourself from asking her why don't you answer the questions and thinking of your own responses while also clarify your opponent's nonsense.

Think of it this way. The question is on foreign policy. You await your opponet's comments so that you can respond. Then your opponent goes into this lenghty non-substantive comment about energy. Your standing there thinking "what the hell is this" while tryin0 to prepare in your mind some legitimate comments about foreign policy. Do this full 90 minutes under the eye of millions of Amecians and it had to be very tiring for Biden.

I just have to say something after watching the debates and the analysis.

Are you freeking kidding me? Why is it we are holding Palin to such a low standard? All I am hearing is "Well, she didnt suck as bad as we thought, but she still wasnt that good...so she won." What the hell? This isnt Jr High where everyone gets a trophy because the tried. This is the #2 position in the executive branch of the government. THE WOMAN DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE VP WAS IN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH!!!

Is it because she is cute? Because she is a woman? Because we all feel sorry for her? Or have we become so cravenly PC that we are too scared to talk bad about her?

Her debating skills are on par with a HS team, maybe. She wouldnt and couldnt answer questions unless prodded. She was nothing but talking points and 'folksy sayings'. SHE...SAID...NOTHING!

Good lord, have we sunk so low that we dont have standards anymore?
