I was at that rally to check out "The Boss" and to observe the number of people in the audience. I was particularly impressed with the amount of young people in the audience, and the diversity. I saw young faces, old faces, blacks, whites, hispanics, asians, gays, straights, etc. Pretty much every ethinc group was represented in the crowd. This is a crowd you'd never see at a McCain/Palin rally because these are the people they DON'T care about. These are the people that the GOP despises because they don't represent their ideology. Obama doesn't represent their ideology, which is why they, particularly John McCain, are AFRAID OF HIM! It's not really because of his race per se, but of what it represents. It represents an end to the status quo of old white men running this country, and they're simply not ready to give up that power. That's why we're going to see more attacks, lies, and distortions from the McCain/Palin campaign. Stay strong PA. Obama has us in his corner, but if we're going to keep PA blue, we need to hold fast to the ideas that Obama represent. An idea of unity and prosperity for ALL Americans, not just the ones who vote for him. This is America's best hope for change, and to paraphrase Ms. Obama, for the first time in a long time, I'm proud of my country.

I'm sick and tired of references to Obama being compared to a religious or evangelical figure.NO ONE in Obama's campaign claims that to be even partially true, nor have I heard even ONE supporter claim that they support all his policies. I need empathy from our leaders and we want them to relate to Joe Six Pack.

That said, I don't want my next door neighbor Joe Six Pack, who is knee deep in credit card debt to be my President. Nor do I want Gov.Palin to be my President, unless she can demonstrate she is not allergic to complex issues.
