Isn't it wonderful how Obama led such a great campaign and has expanded the electoral map for Democrats? I just love Chuck's new electoral map showing Obama up 264-174. Almost there.

Obama ran a much smarter campaign and has a great ground game in those red states now turning blue. The voter registration drives really helped him be competitive.

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!

Plouffe's e-mail 2 weeks ago, reminding us that Obama holds the 'Ace of Spades' in his hand, in this game of political cards. He said it was thrown 19 months ago when the 'Community Organizer', organized his ground troops wo register voters. They expect it to land on the table election night, and give Barack the win. His message gave my family a sense of calm, and confidence that has stayed with us ever since.

I am one of those who went from being an Independent to being a Democrat. I don't have a home phone, so can't take part in any of the polls. I think there are many, many more like me, and we are definitely going to be there on election day. We are going to come out in full for Obama.

Are these guys nuts? When are they going to figure out that insulting people isn't the best way to win votes?

Anyway, what McCain's brother doesn't understand is that Northern Virginians are like the furthest thing from communists you can find. You see, for decades we've been the economic engine of the state. And for decades our taxes have contributed to state revenue pots that have been used to support other parts of the state.

Whether fair or not, this has created a lot of resentment among Northern Virginians, who deal with traffic that is pretty much universally recognized as the second worst in the nation. And transportation spending is a big part of the frustration.

Local Republicans have responded by 1) trying to create a regional taxation authority which would hit Northern Virginians up for additional taxes to build new roads, and 2) trying to exert direct control over local construction and real estate parts of our economy to slow growth - even beyond the impact of zoning and construction proffers.

All this has left many "ideological" Republicans in a quandry, as they have no response to the criticism:

"You want to find true socialists? Try building a strip mall next to a Republican neighborhood."

The press doesn't want to say it but this is going to be a landslide of historical proportions for Obama/Biden. While this is all happening John Mccains campaign wants to talk about Bill Ayers as the economy and other issues decimate the middle class. I want to hear about solutions not attacks. John Mccain's campaign will go down in history as one of the biggest jokes in presidential politics ever!
