Now that McCain has decided to go for broke, let us all take a deep breath and realize that as I have said, he lacks the temperament and the judgement to be POTUS.

McCain has always been a crook and if you examine his so called maverick stance, it was all a gamble rather than a coherent policy stance. Look at this below

Even if I accept that both Dems and Repubs are to blame for the current Financial Fiasco we are all experiencing right now, I am completely unwilling to accept the complete lack of leadership and accountability going on in DC. The bailout with all its pork is a complete insult to the American People. The CEO grilling on the Hill is shining a light on the extent to which power corrupts. I will be perfectly honest here, I am not certain that Obama has all of the answers right now. But what I know for sure is that McCain does not seem to have ANY of the answers. In fact, I don’t believe he understands the questions. His entire life experience gives me the impression of someone who fumbled through at the bottom of expectations. When he has wanted something, he’s taken it. He has shown a complete lack of character in how he treated his first family. He showed a complete lack of character with the Keating 5, which occurred when he was 58 years old (this wasn’t that long ago, people). The way he has run (or allowed others to run) his campaign has further shown a lack of good, principled judgment. Obama may be a risk; but McCain is a dangerous certainty. I will not vote for the man who is showing himself to be a hollow, selfish, liar. No Way, No How, No McCain!

Just liked that part... you know, guilty by association. It's a simple biblical principle: Judge not, lest ye be judged - with the same measure... Matt. 7:1. All this done, during McCain's adult life, Ayers, well, Obama was eight - and I'm sure he wasn't directly involved in Ayers' activities.

So it was just political then right.
I guess so because the Dem they are talking about was John Glenn who is helping out the Obama campaign. SO obviously Obama is just trying to smear McCain.

McCain should have left Ayers alone. BUT since he didn't, turnaround is fair play and Obama was wise to throw Keating into the mix. Many younger folks don't know much about the scandal, which is why I made it my business to pass on the keatingeconomics.com link to everyone I could think of. I understand McCain was behind in the polls, but low grade tactics I thought was beneath him.

McCain doesn't sincerely believe Obama is a terrorist, but apparently some in his and Palin's rally audiences do with the shouts heard yesterday. Truly the Republican nominee has taken a dive and they are pulling that simple puppet Palin right with them. They're even back to having crowd warmers bring up Barack's middle name as a cheap and racist shot.

I think its about time the issue of the Keating 5 was brought up. In my mind I figured this would only become necessary if things got nastier than anyone would have imagined and they have.

So McCain wants to tie Obama in with weather underground Ayers during the time Obama was 8.

People have short term memories I guess, I recall the S & L cisis of the 80's vey clearly why?? Lincoln Savings and loan in RI was the loan company my inlaws had alot of money invested what they did not lose was a frozen asset for a long time. I was a very young woman at the time and watched as they struggled to make ends meet as they could not gain access to their MONEY!!.. This speaks directly to McCains Judgement and his PAl Keating whom went to jail. He was also sanctioned by the house and he got off easy. This is relevant to his presidency as it shows that he has followed the same course of deregulation even after the S & L crisis One would think he would have learned a lesson from that. So the next time Palin defends her postion as relevant to the Ayers issue and Obama conection, it should be pointed out that McCain was in the thick of it all with Keating and the S&L crisis. And if more is needed pehaps the issue of his relatinship with Liddy is relevant too. Again it goes to Character and judgement and an ability to make good decisions.

I know I dont want a president that has not only not learned from his mistakes but also how soon he puts them to the side. Dirty fighting at its worst, Im glad Obama is calling McCan for his past actions that are well documented and not just fodder for the rumor mill as the Ayers issue is.

Keating was a crook and "Dishonest" McCain got off way too light in his punishment. We can see that he did not learn his lesson and just kept in the pockets of big banking while giving them all the deregulation they needed to hang themselves.

If only "Daddy" Bush had not stopped that SEC investigation into his wayward son bankrupting his own company. We certainly could see that from that he would bankrupt our country and sure enough he has added more debt to the national debt than almost all of the preisdents before him.

More and more clarity. McCain Palin are the least qualified candidates to lead the nation. John's bad judgement from the past coupled with his choice of Sarah Palin as VP is a heap of evidence that he does not have the judgement to be president. How the Republican leadership has continued to support him leads me to question their entire way of thinking. This demostrates a total lack of interest in the good of the nation. They allowed McCain to continue unchecked because the possibility of winning an election was more important than the good of the nation. Continued support for McCain Palin would be a mockery of "patriotism." Patriotism is about the nation not about the party.
