Hmmm. I don't think it's a coincidence that an al Qaeda message comes out at the end of the election. Talk about a GOP October surprise. The republican party would launch an attack on the US themselves if they thought they could get away with it.

Also, I think it does matter to al Qaeda who the president is. They hate the American policies, especially those established by Bush Sr, so Bush Jr is simply an extension of that. A change of the magnitude that Obama represents will improve how the US is viewed everywhere, including within terrorist groups. Fundamentally changing how America interacts with the world WILL create more peaceful interactions throughout.
