McCain you truly have disappointed me and the tens of thousand of Independents in this country. We needed leadership from you and you gave us gimmicks. Palin is a gimmick, she is totally unqualified. Suspending your campaign was a gimmick. Saying the "Economy was fundamentally strong" is the same old line George Bush was saying back in February and June... you both were wrong...

Independents are not interested in Ayers, nor your involvement with Charles Keating, or Palin's witch doctor pastor problems" We needed leadership and solutions and all you have given us is meaningless character attacks and smears..

You have lost my respect, You lost my vote... You failed to deliver what America needed... You betrayed us...
McCain supporters rail against Obama

Americans are petrified of Obama and for good reason. Neither of the candidates for national office snuck up on anybody, they both slogged through a long campaign season. Nor has anyone other than the Newbee Gov. Palin been unvetted. Both McCain and Obama have been vetted ad nauseum. The only "discovery" issue left would be Gov. Palin who was introduced a few weeks ago and has yet to have even one open press conference. Finally, anybody watching would have to admit that the presidential campaign has not been gentle. Both sides have played hard. So the anger that is reflected here is a bit mystifying. Are they mad at Obama because he's ahead? This is similar to the anger shown by Sen. Clinton's supporters at the end of the Democratic primaries.

So... my question is - when did our politics come down to this anger in the losing sides?

McCain supporters rail against Obama

I find it nothing but karmic irony in how the more McCain and his hate/fearmongering surrogates and supporters lose their grip on "Christian" sanity that the headlines of our media ravaged culture continue to scream day-after-day that which McCain can't shut down, run from or denounce...our economy is going down the toilet. Questioning Obama's "ties" to anything is beyond irrelevant especially when that same mirror can be held up to McCain with no lily white hands of purity to reflected back as our very foundation of life has become a global crisis and disgrace is all the wake up call anyone should need or be looking for at this moment in time.

McCain supporters rail against Obama

Do they realize the stock market dropped 675 points today? McCain and Palin seem intent on inciting rage in their base that is baseless. It is dangerous to be so naive, to fuel a fear among ignorant people. When people start yelling out 'kill him' and 'terrorist' at your rallies - you have to acknowledge that you have crossed a line. If any of your devoted supporters act on the fear and anger that you have promoted and incited, it will be on your hands McCain. Biden was correct when he said that you are taking the lowest road to the highest office. Shame on you.
