Registration means nothing is you do not pull the lever on election day. Question for First Read; How about all those Repubs that switched to Dem for the primaries? How can any poll or number be considered legit? Not to mention the "cool effect" in registering with the Dem Party. Most youth do what is
"cool" or in "style" or "trendy" which at this point is bash bush and support Obama. Again will it continue till election day or will what happened to Kerry happen again? Also they talk about the Bradley effect. How about a reverse Bradley effect? What if some minorities are supporting Obama now to not be seen as a traitor but in the privacy of the booth vote McCain? There are to many variables to really trust a poll or voter registration numbers this year.

Yes, the willingness on the part of republicans to use legal manuvering to potentially purge registration roles, and intimidate/challenge voters on site has always been a problem. These legal challenges cause a disruption on the smooth operation of polling places, they cause confusion, and apathy on the part of some who may leave without voting. It can also cause total disruption in the voting process because it takes up allot of time, and lines back up. Creating distractions to cover up for their own failures has been the hallmark of republican policital dirty tricks. Republicans are certainly not beneath stooping to rudely challenging someone's right to vote, even if they loose the challenge. They will still try it to skew the voting process in their favor. Where is Jimmy Carter when we need him to oversee our own corrupt election officials!!! You wait and see, it will be chaotic, with legal challenges everywhere, maybe worse than Bush v.Gore. Someone might want to ask Sarah if she can recall that one now? lol.

In any case, let Carter watch our own corrupt government, it needs oversight! The Democratic Party needs to be ready for challenges over what goes on in FL, OH, PA, CO and other States. Never trust a republican when their moneystream and power are at stake. They will come after you and smear ya', right Sarah-Poo?? :)

Notice the States that are already reporting these voting irregularities are battleground states which republicans must carry to win the election. The republicans lose one, they bite the dust. They know how high the stakes are, so they have adopted a kitchen sink strategy to steal another election through smears and distractions. The republicans don't give a damn about this country as a whole. It's all about making already fat pocketbooks, even fatter. All on the backs of the common man.

I live in NW PA and although I am voting for Obama I still see quite a few McCain signs in my neighborhood. I do not know if this is because there are more McCain supporters or because it is hard to get Obama signs here. Obama needs to get some people here I know that. If any of you know people in the western part of PA, call them and plead your case. Obama cannot lose PA!

On the flip side of this, McCain must be afraid of losing his base in PA because my husband is a registered Republican and he received a call from McCain's campaign team to verify that he would be voting for them. I am happy to say that because I converted my husband to a Democrat he told them hell no!
