Dear Obama Campaign:

I think the radio ads are effective and a smart strategy. Keep 'em up, and make sure you keep to the truth, because there's still a lot of misinformation around this state, about guns, health care, and more.

One of my wife's co-workers seems to think Obama's health plan means she will lose doctor choice from her current employer-sponsored plan, and I know that's simply not true.

When's Obama coming back for a Wisconsin visit? Remember the gigantic Kerry rally in Madison four years ago? Man, and I don't think we were all that excited about Kerry, either (we just didn't want Bush). We're pretty excited about Obama, though.

Its a brilliant ad. The surgical precision of the Obama campaign is amazing. Its relevant, local but with a patriotic national theme. And it hits a policy note the candidate has pounded for 2 years.

McCain's campaign looks tired and its attacks use a spastic bludgeon in comparison to Obama's more skillful and thoughtful ads.

No matter what Obama says his party is against citizens having guns and would rather make them subjects.Thats the different between a subject and a citizen one has the means to defend themselves and the other has not.Like Voters why not have means of identification to vote,you can't get on a plane or cash a check ar drive a car with out proof of identification,what are the democrats afraid of?You can get a nondriving ID in lieu of a drivers license.come on people wake up stop voter fraud and don't become a subject.

the obama camp simply have the eft for connecting the dots and making it sensible.

something the mccain camp sorely lacks. perhaps not having enough subtantive material to connect makes it really hard.

i say this is the new brand of politics that obama is showing. one that is intelligent and smart. versus mccain's old style of attack and fear and character assasination. this one is right at the heart of the issue everyone is concerned about while pinning it to your opponent. brilliant as always.

Both the radio add and the new TV ad are excellent. On message, and hits back where it counts -- in the pocketbook. Americans always vote their pocketbook, and this year is no different. If only the neo-cons could somehow be informed that there are actually SEVERAL amendments to the Constitution, and that even some of them are important.

The Founding Fathers made it the SECOND amendment, but that's simply not a big enough clue to the right wing that there are others.

Too bad. I thought the Second Amendment was so we could protect the rest of the Constitution against a tyrannical government, but maybe it's just so we can shotgun GOP lawyers in the face when we're drunk.

I am confused about Barack Obama's gun position? He supported the DC gun ban. Yet, he also supported the Supreme Court ruling striking down the DC gun ban. If his gun position confuses me, you can best be sure that it will confuse your "average gun-toting citizen."

I could understand gun owners feeling uneasy about his position between the above contradiction and his unfortunate comments about clinging to guns. And he seems to have 'quote, unquote' shot himself in the foot on this particular issue.

Awesome ads. When making my 'Neighbor to Neighbor' calls, the biggest objections I get seem to get are guns and abortion. Once I explain his stance on common sense gun laws, people are generally receptive. On abortion, the 'let's lower the number of unwanted pregnancies' initiatives seems to get a good response too.

People WANT to vote for Barack Obama, but all the innuendo and smears have some spooked. When you talk to folks, explain his positions, and show how he at least has an 'acceptable' stance on hard right issues, they can get down to economic and energy issues and when you can finally get a voter to that point, to a real substantive issue, Obama wins every time.
