Rick Davis?

McCain's campaing is so out of touch. You don't need to report the obvious about the economic crisis, we just want the focus and attention to shift towards solving it rather than negative attacks on Obama. You see talking about it means we want to solve it instead of run away from it and hope for the best.
McCain camp not 'a CNBC news show'

As a small business owner, today I have to do something very hard. I have to lay off 1/2 of my employees. Obamas plan for small businesses and what he has done to the stock market is killing my business. I blame him for this crisis we're in. Up until last week when he pulled ahead we were doing good. After his lead, the markets have crashed and I'm losing business right and left.
so, today when I tell my 100 employees that I have to lay 48 of you off , it's because of Obamas plans, and what he has done to the stock market. By the end of the year I fully expect to have to file for bankruptcy.
Jim Strand Dayton, OH (Sent Friday, October 10, 2008 12:30 PM)
******************************************************
Are you serious Jim? Did you just say that Obama's poll numbers caused the stock market crash? Are you really that blind to the situation we are all in right now? Do you really have such an incredible lack of understanding of the economy? You blame a Senator who is running for president and would not be inaugurated until January and not make one mention of the Bush administration? This is truly one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.

Here are some facts for you. Economists have been warning about us about this for 3 years. The value of the dollar has been dropping for years. The housing market has been on the brink of disaster for a long time and when it hit the fan last year anyone with half a brain in there head knew trouble was coming. When big business was so completely de-regulated that CEO's would get millions of dollars in pay-offs for running a company into the ground, warning shots were being fired in the air at a rapid rate and know one paid attention.

Listen, I am an independent who is socially liberal but fiscally conservative. I blame Bill Clinton as much as I do George Bush for pushing a free market economy with little to no regulation or oversight. I really have to tell you that if you really feel that this crisis is due to Obama's recent poll numbers and not a 10+ year history of greed and mistakes then your business probably is in alot of trouble.

I own a small business myself and have been preparing for this eventuality for 3 years. I own a small wine distribution company. I decided a long time ago that I needed to switch from credit to cash. I buy and repair vehicles for my fleet with cash. I renew my healthcare for my employees every year and get a nice group rate. I buy my stock from importers up front or at most ninety days credit. I have lost a ton of business in the last few weeks but I will not have to lay off one single employee and will be able to weather this storm. I can do this because I keep myself educated and informed and prepared. If I thought my business depended on poll numbers my doors would be boarded up by now.

Think about Jim.

McCain camp not 'a CNBC news show'

its the economy stupid......

McCain camp not 'a CNBC news show'

McNasty and Ms. Moneybags are not interested in the financial market.
