It is good that Sarah Palin is such a forceful advocate -- she will need to be that in order for her son, Trig, to get the care and education and health care he will need. Parents of children with special needs know how hard it is to get the proper education within their school district, and how much paperwork is needed in order to prove that the school district cannot meet the needs and must therefore pay for an appropriate setting. That is one of the things that school taxes pay for. Gov. Palin seems to be able to do everything without needing help from outside her family, and that's great, but for many other people, help is needed and government should provide that help -- to show that government accepts the most weak citizens as valuable. So I sincerely hope that Gov. Palin will work to improve the situation for special needs education and health care. As a side note, she may find that if she is less strident and partisan, she will find more support for this cause.

Until she answers to the claims and allegations made against her in Alaska, she should not make these ridiculous accusations against Senator Obama. Also for someone who gets her foreign policy knowledge from reading newspapers, she is suddenly an expert on this subject. I doubt she can even point to Iraq on a map.
