Those two things should be a matter of concern for women. Trig isn't even her child, she took the baby from her daughter who is pregnant again. There is only one reason people are yelling "terrorist" at McCain / Palin rallies - because their ads and candidates are saying Obama "pals around with terrorists that want to destroy our country".

It's quite simple. It has nothing to do with Mr. Bounds' ridiculous assertion that their supporters are so frustrated they have to yell "muslim", and "kill him" because of the prospect of a tax policy we had for 8 years under the Clinton administration. As far as excuses go - it's not a very good one.

They merely echo the ignorant talk radio hosts (Hannity & Limbaugh) that get paid millions to divide this nation with horsecrap insinuating that Obama somehow is not a patriotic American. They know full well they are inciting these low information, and for the most part - low IQ voters and whipping them into a frenzy.

I am not ready to pat McCain on the back for doing what he was forced to do because even he can't stomach the results of his campaigns "message". It's telling that he was booed by these so called "country first" good Christian Americans when he was simply saying is decent.

There he was - a poor old man knowing full well that Obama was 8 years old when Ayers did what Obama himself has called "detestable acts", having to explain to HIS OWN supporters that his opponent is a citizen of this country and is a decent family man you needn't fear should he become President.

McCain looked ashamed and he should be.

The reality is I love this country as much as McCain and Obama - I love this country as much as the whackjob in the rural town (or anywhere else for that matter) that hears Palin say "Obama thinks America is so imperfect that he would pal around with a terrorist that would bomb our nations capitol".

It's hard to dream up something more irresponsible to say to a large crowd.

IT IS NOT A LEAP TO ASSUME that NO doubt some of their less intelligent supporters (and there is no shortage) will think because of this "message" that they need to act on behalf of this nation and somehow "save" our country from "terrorist Obama". Palin in any important office that would control or dictate things in the lives of any American, I really like Jonh McCain and have supported him for many years. I can not imagine not backing or beleiving in and man or woman whom has put their selves in harms way performing the most noble and patriotic role an American can perform as Sen. McCain has done. However Gov. Palin needs to quit talking.
My meger legal experience as an active student studying law tells me that the pro-life\pro-choice topic is hardly an issue that can be affected by any sitting president.
People!, Roe v. Wade set a common law! It is now LAW! ladies and gentlemen. It would take many years of debating, lobbying and many many Supreme Court Cases to ever return to this abotion issue. No president has any power to change law without the aprovale of the other three branches of government. This is the hard fact of government. It is so simple that a caveman could see it!
Abortion is not a topic, issue or reason to vote one way or anouther. It CAN NOT be affected simply by the election of a president.
She should have left this subject at the door in Wasilla, Alaska and came to the table with what she can change and what she does know; although I'm not convinced there is anything she does know.
She is basically a weapon for the 'heart-sick'.

Palin tries to shift talk to abortion

Sen Obama said he did not want his daughter punished with a baby as a teenager. Sarah Palin probably did not even hear that comment, it was so long ago. She wasn't even in the know at that time. Is fact check going to disprove her remarks?

Palin tries to shift talk to abortion

Adolf Hitler's rise to power in the early 1930s used similiar divisive tactics, that labeled the dissenters terrorists and scary and blamed them for all of society's great problems.

Palin tries to shift talk to abortion

palin is telling more debunked lies! But anti-abortion ideologues with a long history of partisan attacks are still launching unconscionable ads smearing Barack Obama.

The attackers torture and twist logic and history by willfully misinterpreting votes by Barack Obama in the Illinois State Senate to come up with their wild accusation.

Here’s the truth about Barack Obama and the bill:

At the time Barack voted against a bill containing language designed to protect infants who were “born alive,” such protection was already on the books as Illinois state law.[1]
The accusations against Barack are so reckless that not even the Republican state senator who sponsored the bill will support them. In fact, he freely admits that “None of those who voted against SB-1082 favored infanticide.”[2]
The bill was opposed by many legislators and groups like the Illinois Medical Society because of the unintended impact it would have had on other laws and legal precedents in Illinois.[3]
Barack is on the record[3] saying that he would have supported a similar bill that came up in Congress -- but that didn’t pose a threat to a woman’s right to choose the way the Illinois bill did.[4]
Palin tries to shift talk to abortion

So now he is a baby killer?
