The Obama campaign' ground game is what is going to win this election. The 'get-out-the-vote' operation is staggering in size and reach. My hometown -- which has NEVER had much of a Democratic party presence -- has an Obama local HQ. I couldn't believe it.

Barack Obama has run a masterful campaign for the past 20 plus months. Now there's something he's been in charge of and he has been a smashing success. Obama has the ground game to get the votes out to win while the grumpy old hate monger just doesn't have a smart campaign, just fear and smear and all the old tired repugnant one's lies of tax cuts for the rich and greedy plus deregulation that has left our ecvonomy in turmoil.

Barack has run the best campaign a Democrat has run since Bill Clinton. His opponent has run a crappy campaign that only managed to defeat a bunch of primary wimps.

It is yet too early to heap any praise on how a campaign is run... we are just in the 7th inning stretch, the 9th inning yet to be more than a dimly lit hallway to the polling booth... yeah, he's got the best ground game, yeah Defense wins a lot of Football games, yeah, Firing the "Coach/Campaign Management Staff" may not gain support but it is here that the "Owners" say, "Do This! I think the Hegemonic tone will be watered down.
I still believe it is there but it is time
to focus on the economic issues. There is so
much discord in McCain's campaign. Palin making
an arguement that Obama is a big spender. Has
Palin looked at the operation of Obama's
campaign? This is one of the most organized
campaigns in history. He knows how to invest
and knows how to make the correct choices on
his expenditures. Some may say he is slow on
responses but it is intentional-he really is
patient and not reactionary and this is why
Obama is successful. To me it shows strong
leadership- I didn't have experience when I
opened my business but I took my time in building
it and kept all my goals realistic. We now have
a small business that has flourished for 7 years

Obama has sharp mine for economics and business-
he will take care of us! You will be surprised.

I receive the Wheeling News Register because we have no other local newspapers in the area. If I could get another one I would. Wheeling News Register has alway been Republican and they make me sick. This area is so out of touch and the economy has been rotten for a long time.
