Wow. I hadn't heard anyone describe it as being that dismal a 'mission'. While I still think that Obama will win PA, I also think that McCain will give Obama a run for his money.

Although, I haven't seen nearly as many McCain ads as I have Obama ads...

It is so heartening to see the battleground states lean more and more towards Obama as Election Day nears. Just need to keep seeing more red states turn blue so Obama/Biden and the whole Democratic ticket wins more power in order to ensure we won't have a fillibuster deadlock that the repugnant ones will use to muck up progress.

So funny that "Scarlet Letter" Sarah is heading to Maine to waste her time. She should just shut up and let the old geezer make statements. I'm so glad he picked her as she has been the biggest reason he's losing.

This election is really astonishing to watch McCain and his Johnny-Come-Lately crew run around like chickens!

They are so out of touch and these old arguments such as abortion and guns is a total reach. The next time I go fill my tank up or buy groceries, I will tell the attendants I am against/ or for abortion and gun rights so, bag my items and give me a receipt for my purchase!

The point is...WHO CARES??? Those arguments will pay for NOTHING, the economy is in shambles are they are grand standing on issues I care nothing about.

I find it stunning that some undecideds are still looking for specifics from the candidates. Clearly, Obama has provided specifics since the beginning of the meltdown.He has laid out his proposals on more than one occasion and continues to enhance with specifics as the dynamics of the situation changes.

Neither of the candidates are in a position to say with 100% certainty what they will do because they are still Senators. Who knows what the new president will uncover once they are in the White House.

Unless Bush finds Osama bin Laden before 11/4 this election is over! If Obama loses it will be because the Deibold voting machines were rigged in McCain's favor.

I find it interesting that all these right wing pundits are panting about the ACORN debacle. Yes, they are a nuisance but no matter how many bogus registration applications they submit you can be sure that Mickey Mouse, Hans Solo, Donald Duck, Luke Skywalker, etc. will not be voting. All this screaming about voter fraud is just noise. It is not fraud unless a vote is cast by one of these idiots.

Until then, ACORN should be held accountable for clogging up the system and punished appropriately.

Polls, schmolls. They don't mean anything at this point but the hard work and terrific ground game of the Obama campaign should yield winning results.

As a PA resident and Democrat, I have to say that I couldn't have been happier with my state. Since the debates and economic downturn, I have seen an increase of Obama/Biden signs...about 6 or 7 Obama signs to 1 McCain sign.

Kind of says it all. McCain may or may not have a shred of integrity left, but he's tainted with staffers who surely don't.

Hampton Roads is important but not the swing part of Virginia. Its Loudoun, western Fairfax and Prince William Counties - the outer bands of Northern Virginia.

If these areas go heavily Republican, McCain wins. If they come closer to a split, Obama wins.

Its these areas in which Mark Warner did well, and his coattails allowed for Kaine to do well there, too. Its also where Webb did well.

Because Americans are concerned with real issues and not just another meaningless name for Obama's past the has no relavance on what is happening today. This kind of thing just shows how the Republicans know they have no shot and are just trying to fling mud to see if something sticks. Perhaps we should discuss Palin and her abuse of power which has been ingnored. Maybe we should look deeper at Charles Keating and how he still enjoys a friendship with McCain. Obama has done a wonderful job of allowing McCain the opportunity to keep his honor by not bringing up this garbage. McCain has decided to destroy his legacy with his cowardly actions.
