NO. What embodies the tenents of socialism is the TRILLION DOLLAR bailout for the fat cats. That's universal socialism...privitizing the profits and socializing the losses.

McCain makes him famous then blames Obama for his being in the spotlight. Joe's loving the spotlight and McCain, not Obama put him in it.
Joe makes 40K and can't afford to pay 1200 in back taxes. I'm sure the McCain's will pay it for him...you know for his time campaining for them and all. He's not even close to "saving enough money to buy his own business". And, unfortunaley he's too brainwashed (or stupid?) to realize that Obama's health and economic plans will help him reach his goal LONG BEFORE McCain's will. As long as he makes less than 250K HIS TAXES WILL NOT INCREASE ONE DIME!. If he suddenly begins making more 275K a year., he will pay an extra 3% on the 25K -- NOT THE WHOLE 275k. That's pretty close to rate under the Clinton administration when times were good!
God forbid poor Joe gets sick. John McCain's gonna give him 5K (2K if he's single) to go out and find good insurance. Good luck with that Joe.

Please remember that Obama's plan hits Joint returns at $250,000 but individuals at only $125,000. Also, McCain hasn't spent 20 years of his life in a church listening to socialism from the pulpit (Wright), serving on boards and reading the influential books of an unrepentant terrorist/socialist (Ayers), and serving as a community organizer and working hand in hand with radical and fraudulent groups like ACORN.

As for consistency, please ask Senator Obama about his truthfulness about using public financing for the campaign and his pledge to do numerous town hall debates. Ask him why his answers about Ayers keep changing and he won't speak honestly about the extent of their relationship. Ask him how he could sit in a church for 20 years under Wright's preaching and mentoring, march in the million man march in DC, have his church give awards to Louis Farrahkan....and he still just recently found out Wright was radical?

Dear Sen. McCain,

I am a hard working, tax paying, American, but unlike Joe the plumber, last year I only made $12,000.00 although I had to pay $150.00 in taxes. This is because I didn’t "earn" my income according to the tax rules (earned income tax credit), because I am a military retiree. I think it is kind of amazing that I didn’t mind paying my fair share of taxes but you think that people who make over $250,000.00 shouldn’t pay a bit more. Do you really think it is fairer for me to have to pay such a large percentage of my miniscule income than to ask my better-off fellow citizens to kick in a few more bucks. I am so fortunate to have my military retirement and the healthcare that goes with it. But what will happen to me when I have to find healthcare after I can no longer use the system at 65, because it was privtized (TriCare)? I won’t have an employer-based program, as most retirees don’t. Will I need to figure out how to pay taxes, pay for my dental care, (two things I do already) as well as medical care? If I don't want to have medicare as my medical provider the answer is yes I will. By then I may have some preexisting conditions though...

I also want you to know I am one of the people who have donated to Obama, I did it two times both times was for $100.00; BTW (chat lingo we use on the internet to mean, “By The Way”) I also sent $100.00 to Hilary. I am not trying to keep my donations a secret to either campaign but because I am hardly rich I couldn’t donate more. So yes, I invested in the campaigns of two candidates I believe will help people like me.
